Good info thanks! I would torch em but the radius arms are so beefy they’d probably need to be cut and rewelded which I’m hesitant to do and will probably save as my last resort...

It’s hard to tell from previous pictures but there are 3 tubes that make up the radius arm, aka beef

I was planning on using a bolt in engine cage I got from a buddy and long story short, it didn’t work out how I wanted it to and now I’m building my own. Only problem is I don’t exactly know what I’m doing. I like the shock mount/engine cage desolate motorsports makes so I was going to try and base mine off that. I worked on it today and this is what I have so far. I’m slightly concerned about the shock angle. Would pushing them back (towards firewall) vs in (towards motor) give me a more progressive movement? Any input would be appreciated

This is what I have so far, the only picture I took was of the hoods clearance.

Progress from today: upped the main tubes from 1.5 to 1.75 after some horror stories from my uncle, staggered the gusset pieces that run down the tubes and ran the tubes down the frame. Going to whip up some caps for the shock mounts and throw a couple toobs at them later this week depending on the rain...

For most progression i think you want to basically have a right angle using the coilover and rad arm as “legs” of the triangle at full bump. Then I think using the beam and coilover for in and out movement to achieve a right angle again.

I’m posting this from the waiting area at crown performance. Placed an order for brake lines on Monday, they said 2 day turn around and I just showed up to get them and “the manager lost the order” I get that shit happens but cmon... if anyone knows of a better alternative I’ll get up and walk out right now. 20 min on the clock, your time starts now!
