Fantastic! Looks like the trails were fun & challenging; although pictures NEVER do justice to the difficult lines.

I like this truck. I like that it is being built on a budget. Dual purpose work truck & trail vehicle is a testament to how cool old Toyotas are.

Keep documenting the upgrades!

P.S.
I’m guessing we will all like the wheels better now that they have some rock rash...

Thanks Ryan! These pictures were on some of the moderate stuff. We were too busy spotting to film or take pictures of the harder stuff.

Hah! Only now the wheels look like I let a chick parallel park the truck!

Spent yesterday morning being an American and building stuff. Finished them this morning aside from drilling holes to their finished size. Lift shackles for a friend's explorer he's slowly building up.

I got tired of having poor quality sound and using a cassette/aux cord thing, so I picked up a cheapo kenwood head unit/speaker set from autozone for $80, speaker wire, and the toyota wiring adapter kit. That, combined with the little speakers in the dash (all that I had before) sounded pretty good! But I wanted some bass to fill the weak spots. Didn't want a box or anything so I picked up a Rockville 10" sub/amp unit and I'm super happy with it! Install was about an hour and it sounds great. Definitely doesnt rattle the windows, but I didnt want it to.

Some updates. Built a bike trailer for getting to some hunting grounds, replaced the shifter bushing in the trans, finished the fire extinguisher mount, built a drop hitch, and just mounted this light bar. Aside from that I've just been using it for school and hunting

Nothing really new with the truck. Installed a RAM cup holder since the stock cup holder is broken and isn't big enough for my coffee thermos. Just picked up these shocks tonight from a member on here. Looks like 3 of the shafts are pitted pretty bad and one schrader valve is smashed. While they're still squishy, I'm gonna make mounts and throw the 8" shocks under the bed. Might figure out something for the 6" shocks up front. Then I'll rebuild them and spray with steel-it like all the cool kids are doing.
