I stopped coming on here thinking the site was going to eventually crash. Today I accidentally clicked on my DR bookmark and to my surprise it looks like someone revamped the site.

With the help of some friends, I finally put the 6.0 in my Chevy a couple weeks ago. So I think I'm finally over the hump of not working on it.

It'll probably take another few months to get it running with the holidays, house projects and some side work I'm going to do for a friend. Hopefully she'll be a runner by Spring?

Haven't really got much done since I last posted. My son helped me pull the old harness out, so I need to cut the 2 apart and make one. I got some eBay F-body headers for $100, that look like they should work nicely. I think I've bolted on a few odds and ends. Fuel line should be good to go. I herniated a disc in my back last weekend while picking up a flat head for my son and I to work on, so I'm not going to be able to get a ton done until that is fixed. I'm lucky that my wife is an MRI tech, so we have been very fortunate to catch problems waaaay early. She scanned herself once and found something that was potentially life threatening

Let that back rest. I’m just now finally fully recovered from a full spinal fusion in July.
Can’t wait to see what this truck can do with the 6.0!

Whats the flathead going in?
Don't have anything in mind yet. I just bought it for my son with the hopes that he would get interested in it. I got him a Lego technic set for Christmas that had an age range of 10-16 and he's only 7 and was able to build the whole thing on his own. He was especially interested in the moving pistons, so I figured that was a good start.

I'm sorry to hear that man. I know how it goes. A large portion of my back is fused and I went through a herniated disc in my neck in 2014. I'll try my best to take it easy, but I have a track record of not taking things easy after injuries.

My uncle had similar injuries and had some surgery done. Had a minor fall a few months after the surgery and now has paralysis on one side. That shit is no joke. Get help even when you don't think you need it.
Dang dude. That's scary to hear, but thank you for sharing. The pain in my legs is getting worse and I know from when I had this happen in my neck, with arm pain, that the disc is just getting worse. I see a spine sugeon next Monday. I just hope he takes me seriously and is able to help me
