Yeah that's what I use, too. If you're using hot rolled, make sure to grind back the millscale. That makes a ton of the sticky slag that's hard to get off. Give upping your wire speed a go. If not, drop the voltage and adjust the wire feed speed accordingly.

Also, if anyone wants em. My old tires. Five 33x10.50R15 BFG at ko1 have a bit of tread left, one has a patch but doesn’t leak at all. All yours for $200 obo. PM me

Yeah, so drop it one voltage setting and drop the wire speed accordingly
So I was messing around with it some more yesterday afternoon and noticed the wire speed changes depending on the voltage tap. My welder at work doesn’t do this.

Anyone else’s migger do this?

Example,

voltage setting #1, wire speed set at 50%, you have 100ipm of wire.

Voltage setting #4, wire speed set at 50%, you have 200ipm of wire.

(These aren’t actual ipm numbers)
