So I bought a little beater Toyota last month. Chaos BJ kit with 2.5” SwayAway 8” resi Shock. After pulling the shocks apart. I’ve already got new black shafts but noticed these shocks are like 2 different generations. What is the difference between the pistons? Which is better?

I might have another “class 5” OG piston laying around. I will check tomorrow.

I ran the OG low flow pistons on my Turboyota with great success. Shim stacks were alot lighter than many dudes are running, but it worked.

Good to hear, I haven’t even mic’d the shims. Figured I’d rather just get it running before I do any clean up or upgrades. But they are apart so I guess I’ll check them out now

Well probably doesn’t matter either way at the moment. Anyone willing to ship a matching piston if they have one laying around? Or if they are heading to RATR. Maybe heading that way for the day
