Sweet! I'll be out there! Greg is going for the full season so Im going to try and hang with him for the whole season so we can test together before races and pit/camp together. Bust ass and get it out there!

Well if I ever get my truck back together I'm sure I'll come out and race. Not sure how many races since we are racing class 6 in the other truck but I'll be there for most the races.

Looks like Im going to be building a new truck and doing the entire series, so u can add my name to the list.

I don't have a truck but.... I going to try and race most of the 2012 MORE series. I don't care what kind of vehicle you have its still fun to pass you.

haha no this one doesn't get the heater, carpet, power Windows, stereo, 4x4, 3rd seat, 2nd fuel cell, and all the other bs my truck has. we are trying to make it as strong/simple as possible so another ibeam ranger of course.

ill be racing as many MORE/SNORE races next year, truck is ready to battle with grag like the good ol MDR days!

you will probably see the old 1404 at least one MORE race!!! might try some of the Nevada races before though!

Has anyone heard if people are still crying and there still gonna change the rules for 2012 and split 1400 up into 2 classes so we'll be screwed on contingency?

I do not know which race promoter you are referring to but I think MORE and HDRA have their sportsman truck rules set for 2012.

how do those short wheel base high powered trucks do? because riding in a linked bronco with a built motor it seemed like it would do better if the wheel base was longer. seemed a little skatie in the rear

Well we lengthen it a few inchs during the build. Before I beamed it the truck would still do 100mph in the dirt but yes your right a little skatie. Now its few inchs longer should be better.

I will be racing 1409 as long as i dont get screwed by the rules. I added on to my standard cab with aluminum panels and made it an extended cab so I could get a bench in the back for my kids when we go out to the desert. Hopefully I didnt sabotage myself.

U should be fine. As long as it has a cab with working doors I won't complain .

My truck also started life as a regular cab and now is a extra cab, but we cut the cab off and spliced on the extra cab around the cage. so I'm pretty much in the same boat as you.

thanks Ryan. Is your guys truck still gonna make it for the season opener? I'm cutting it close but should be doing final shake down the beginning of Jan.

Did you buy that truck,or build it mxrider.. I saw this for sale in Menifee a couple of years ago.

I bought it a year ago from my brother in law and he had it for about 5 years before that. He's actually the one who paid to have the rear added on for his kids and then I used it for mine but the wife didnt like how hard it would of been to get to the kids back there if we had a problem. So we tore the truck down to the frame and rebuilt everything so we could race it except for the suspension, rear end, and exterior.

Its nothing special and certainly isnt TT status. CBM 5.3l built for reliability not power, he told me it has about 360-380hp @ crank. B&M th400 bought right from the catalog. 2.5" c/o & bypasses. Just has some cool aluminum work that makes it look fast. lol

So far 5 entries for 1400!!! WHere's everybody at????

Still getting working on getting the trucks running? I might be running my prerunner cause the new truck might not be ready for the first race. Building a entire truck in less then 2 months is asking a lot...
