Thread: 1400 rules questions

Has everyone decided if fiberglass cab trucks will be allowed into the class?

If so, what about mdr east mcmillan series? ive noticed that a 1400 class does not really exist over there.

1400 "exists" at plaster, just no one chooses to enter. Probably due to lack of competition so its a catch 22, but the class is there if someone decides to enter.

The only rule is steel cab and working doors. So I would say no to fiberglass cabs in either class but thats just me.

I am pretty sure the night race was a "test" for it and i think only one person out of 11 didnt go with it. I dont remember seeing any fiberglass bodies at the night race though....

Pretty much.

For the remainder of this season glass cabs will be allowed into 1400 only. if everything goes well then they will become a permanent part of the 1400 rules for 09. the 1450 class will not be changed from its current steel cab rules.

Does this mean you must run a fiberglass cab with this change to run 1400?
