Thread: bus box to hv1 swap

I am currently taking out my 091 transmission that is for sale for 2k. It has everything. It cost me 3500 to build. It has 600 miles since rebuild. 300 race 300 desert trips to glamis, barstow, parker, and it works absolutely perfectly. 2k takes it.

Anyways I have heard to run this transmission I have to buy a custom cable shifter, and from other people saying that it is not true. Can someone post a pic of there shift linkage set up? BUSK!!!

not true on the shifter. i used the exact same shifter i used on my bus box. weddle makes the linkage that moves the shift linkagefrom the side to the front. it came on the tranny but it was extra when i oldered the tranny from them. my linkage is as simple as it gets, a u joint at the shifter and one at the trans with a straight rod between them. at the tranny end it is off center to the passenger side about 6"
