But I wanted to keep it a secret til the Night Race! I dont have any updated pics of how shes sittin with my steekers on it either and its in my buddies garage til I sell my Bug. Wednesday Ill be over there snaggin some stuff so Ill bring my camera. Howd you find out BTW? Just recognized it?

Better, faster, smoother. Totally stoked to say the least. Could have upped the pace a lot during the race but I just wanted to finish which I did. Had it on cruise control and never stopped the whole race except out by the lake bed to help the 1250 SAW Bug for 10 minutes or so.

Taylor I yelled as laud as I could every time you went by our broken ass. Were you pulled over around mm10 on the first lap? I though we passed you when you weren't moving.

Codawg and I are like, "Greg and Pahl were motoring, wonder what happened?" Then we got closer and saw the radius arm laying in the dirt. Didnt hear you yelling but I figured you were LOL. Yeah I stopped at check 1 after that big silty corner for like 2 minutes dicking around with the shifter but got it figured out as probably 6 or 7 1450s went around us.

haha only other person i have seen use indeed, i say that shit all the time people are like what the fuck, but yeah i was jealous when i saw it go by i was like fml lol

I think that performance boosted it to the 11.8, its not quite a real 12 car...

Ill bump this thing with some specs when I get a chance. Next race will be Powder Puff then if the car isnt a total mess were going to try and make the November 7th (I think thats the date) MDR race so we can get top 3 for season points in MDR.

Going for the podium finish, I like it! We need more pictures and specs and evrything else dirt related. Personally I think you have an 35/3 car

Well played. The math part of my brain shut off when I got burned out on my engineering major and switched to a different one.

Totally forgot about this thread until I thought about it this weekend. Ill get everything up sometime next week after the semester is over. Car has finished every race we have entered in thus far, even with my mom and a 20 year old chick at the helm.

Check the BMS RATR thread (Im guessing you havent scrolled down all the way yet...) We raced Unlimited Sportsman. John was gonna ride day one and help us out on entry but he couldnt show so off to the 6 am heat we went. Buddy of mine drove both days and got 8th day one with a minor problem and 4th day two, no clue on overall in our class. Im guessing you were asking about 12 but Im not sure on that either because day one we were working on the car during that race and I left at 9 this morning. I know Folts and Bean were hauling ass in the morning though...

Copy that. Just read the thread in the racing section. My friend Greg Crew won Unl. Sportsman yesterday in his 83 Raceco. Not sure how he did today. He said he was getting smoked by all the prerunners/pro racers yesterday but they all pulled off before the finish. Any idea how he did today. White and red Lucas Oil car #1502.

Yeah a lot of guys used that race for another prerun/line finding mission. There were two 4 seaters that ran both days so I think they got 1 - 2. A lot of the other guys didnt run this morning but Folts ran both days so Im guessing he was possibly 2 or 3. Your buddy was in the hunt for sure. Other than him there was a two seat car that had the codawg behind the driver which we named the Top Gun car. He definitely looked strong both days so Im sure he was probably in the top 5 or right around there for combined results. I think we will be just outside the top 5 which isnt bad considering what my little car was up against...

Edit: In the morning race a lot of 16 guys raced but Im assuming they ran the limited class...

The Top Gun car was very popular in the late 70's/early 80's. They were called tandems and raced in the 2 seat unlimited class. That guy race at the SNORE 250 as well. I would bet you guys finished higher than you think. None of the 4 seaters or Folts or Freeman finished on saturday. So if you finished all your laps you beat those guys. On races like this and BAP alot of guys preun in the sporstman race but pull off just short of the finish so they don't screww up the points/finishing order for the guys actually racing in that class.

I didnt even realize that a lot of people pulled off before the finish. Wonder if were in the mix for a top 3 then between your buddy, Top Gun and us? Cant really remember anything else that was running super fast unless a few 10s and 12s didnt pull off...
