i never knew racing gets old... and if all these people race why are people talking down on class 7? if its not your class then why say anything at all?

because if the class "leader" wasnt soooooo stubborn it would have multiple extra entries every race.

Regaurdless of what you have to say about Mr. Chamlee, he has been champion MULTIPLE years and MULTIPLE years in a row. Like it or not it is no reason to talk down on him. If you think your that much better, prove it. Show up to the start under the same rules he does and show him what you have. So until then you have no room to talk. Even if you beat him great chances are he will still be at the top on the points by the end of the year as always regaurdless who tries to show up or not. I'm sick of this "class champion doesn't want the rules changed" talk. It's not just him. Everyone built their trucks to the rules. If you want to come out and race 7 open follow the damn rules its not that hard. Example, just cause everyone thinks is would be way more fun to drive 100 (85" track width) on the freeway then 65mph (78") doesn't mean they should change it. Rules are there for a reason. If everyone that ever didnt like a rule got it changed rules would be worthless.

also i guess its time to start bashing on all the champions that happen to be in a class that don't have 20+ entries. look at class 3 (2 entrys all year), class 5 (3 entrys all year), 8 (6 entries all year), class 9 (3 entrys all year )7sx (5 entries all year), class 11 (2) stock mini (2), stock ful (2) EVEN CLASS 5-16!! with 9 different entries all year, the same as class 7. so i guess one of two things, every class should just change all their rules so more people will sign up in every class, OR everyone should just drop it and get their facts and numbers right before they speak.

I guess you just posted the SCORE entries for the season? SCORE is dieing itself. Part of the resons for this is the fact that SAVAGE is a donkey and refuses to change with the times. He is stuck in his 1982 time warp and SCORE is paying the price for it.

Compare the overall entries in class 7 open in SCORE to class 7200 in BITD. That will give you your answer loud and clear.

Exactly what I was thinking Dan. BITD is so much more progressive compared to SCORE it is just stupid.

Dont get me wrong, those guys race SCORE for a reason. They have fun doing it. We raced in SCORE and still do. Baja is uncomparable, Primm is fun & tuff, LDC is unique...

SCORE and their administration makes it difficult to put up with. BITD is accommodating and really makes it worth participating plus they design benefits which draw in entries.

Then it sounds like the fact is SCORE is dying not Class 7. What it really should come down to is if you want to invest time under the set rules of class 7 then sign up, if not find another class that better fits your needs. Its that simple. The time invested in this stupid thread that will get no where would be a good time for all you to fill in your notched frames and narrow your width and come out and play with everyone.

for the record, Dan doesnt have a chance this year with Conchola Jr. running so strong....not too mention Taylor and Heidi in her 7sx. Also, the top points "6" trucks and 7200 for that matter, all have frame rails w/ factory style suspension.

she is driving 2 different trucks, all she has to do is start the race with one truck and finish with the other and she is 'driver of record' for both.
