I'm not sure what it takes to but CODE has a MC/Quad race coming up in a couple of weeks in Jacume. ZR Promo has races down in the Laguna Salada/Canon de Guadalupe area west of Mexicali. checkout codeoffroad.com.mx and zrpromo.com
Mucho dinero$$$. Stub can for score, current riding gear, stickers in the correct places, and that's really about it to be legal. Now to be setup to actually finish or be competitive is another story!!!

To set our XR650's up for BITD and SCORE it goes to precision concepts to get prepped and have the suspenion serviced and pretty much have the bike get rebuilt and anything that look worn gets replaced with a new one. In each pit box there is a set of complete wheels w/ rotor, sproket, and tube/tire all ready to go on the bike. And the pit boxes have fluids, air filter and pretty much what ever it takes to get the bike running. Pre-running is allowed in some BITD and all SCORE races so your going to want to have another bike to pre-run on. Its highly recommended not to pre-run with your race bike. The way we prep our bikes is a little meticulous and a little over prepared with the pit boxes but we have only had one dnf and thats because of a cracked hub and a broken back. Its a lot of money but so is every kind of racing.

You can race District 37 or District 38 too. Rules are a lot easier with bikes to. They are pretty self explanatory just by looking at an entry form.Originally Posted by [b

And don't let a D37 race that's only 80 miles fool you!!! It'll test the shit outta your riding skills no matter what skill level you are!!! If you think you're the man, hit up the DMC national, Checkers race, or the Vikings National!!!

I'm more tired after a district37 race than I am any BITD or SCORE raceOriginally Posted by [b

I've been on the verge or tears wanting off my bike so bad at a DMC national but was so lost that my only choice was to keep going. IT KICKED ASS!!!![]()

DMC ,Vikings, and 100's get pretty hard. DMC is the worse though. They make you think twice sometimes when your going up or down stuff. They do have the best waterfall down hills though.Originally Posted by [b

Do not try a National on your first atempt. You can do all your own bike prep and save a bunch of money. There are tons of races try them all and enjoy.
