I forget which truck but I definitely took it out with 4 zip ties on each resi and didn't have a problem. I ran one hose clamp on each resi on the ranger for a while too. You're golden! Truck looks good buddy

Made it to Barstow and back with 0 mechanical issues. Wind was stupid on the way home, bad enough it was getting under the lip of my moon roof and started to separate the glass from the frame. Pulled over twice to duct tape it down, then made a target stop for more tape and taped it a 3rd time. Thanks Pahl for calling and checking on me haha
Dropped the exhaust today and fixed several exhaust leaks, sounds so much better now. Also finally got around to installing the o2 sensor i should have installed a longgg time ago. Now i just need to figure out how to keep it from over heating with a T-stat installed.
My front resis are held on the frame with big ass Fry Steel zip ties!

8921 rpm's holy shit I think my 3.0 would explode somewhere near 6k lol. My 468 in my 83 Chevy on the other hand is a different story...nothing like the sound of high RPM's!!! lol
DAMNIT!!!!!! almost lost a wheel today. pulled into an auto parts store and all the lugs were on by like 2 turns, good 1" gap between the wheel and lugs. completely destroyed the rim. im just glad it didnt break the wheel studs. I torqed them to 110 2 weeks ago, put maybe 250 miles on it since. WTF
soo anyone have a 6x5.5 outlaw II?
thats cutting it close nice save
are you running 5/8ths studs? 110 seems like a lot, but im running stocks haha so mine just get snugged with a 2ft breaker bar. My buddy might have a rim ill ask
yes 5/8 studs. good thing too. none of them broke and they are supper long. had they been stock length the lug nuts would have been long gone.
Good to hear it ended up turning out the way it did. Definately gonna check mine more frequently haha
Thanks!
in my garage soon hopefully haha. DC shock service/randy's offroad in azusa or i know of 2 places in upland (thats where i go).
Nothing exciting has happened. rebuilt the center link with a new uniball and bushings. nothing else new. will be at the coconut bay bar and grill meet this thursday, stop by and check it out.
where are you getting your bronze bushing material? any specific sizes you'd recommend?
I have a few different sources depending on what im using it for. Are you referring to the idler arm or centerlink?
the one in the centerlink. ive found a few places online but im not sure exactly what it is that im looking for. never messed around with bronze bushings before
I got everything I needed for Scott's 4wd setup from mcmaster. I am sure they will have what you need for your 2wd stuff Kevin.

You will never be forgotten!
I get the center link ones from a friend locally. Like mikey said mcmaster carr stocks pretty much everything you would need though.
yeah thats where i saw them. gonna have to do more research before i order anything though. im still unfamiliar with bronze bushings
you know what that truck needs is some 16in rims and 35s, lol
