01 silverado single cab

so here some pics of my build there arent in order to much of a pain in the ass to move them all around. well its an 01 silvy 4.8 liter with a custom tune from RPM motorsports its got the 4l60e with a upgraded booost valve and super servos, soon to have a corvette convertor in it. as for suspension its got the burg lt kit up front with a king coilover and bump out back are deaver c-85s with king bypass,bumpstop (not mounted yet). Boneyard or bonedhard as some people call it did my spring hangers and shackles. The cage work was done by my buddy at St.George motorsports it's all out of 1 3/4 DOM. I did all the small shit like frame plating and mounting bedsides and other random stuff. inside its got the usual like Suede prp buckets,crow 5 points, momo steering wheel with quick disconnect,stock dash and a nice stereo. there are some things im in the middle of doing right now like new bumpers and a fuel cell, ill have pics when im done. hope you guys dig it

Damn thats clean. really liking your truck. What Kind of leg room you getting in there with the cage. i am Tall like 6'2" and am looking at what my options are for caging my silvy.

You aren't gonna have much room if its a single cab. Mines caged and im 6'4 and there isnt as much room as Id like. It works though. Just get the cage as close to the back window as possible.

im 6"1 and his cage was roomy. not ext cab status but i was super im pressed sitting in it. then he decided to make it race truck loud with the help of a whoop section lol

good luck if you have a single cab my seat is 2 inches from the back window and im sitting comfortably i would like to move back a little but thats all i can do unless i got a low back seat and lowered them more but there is tons of headroom to the roof

my rack is still going strong (knock on wood)
and yea i got the cell figured out just need to lengthen my stock sending unit and make the cell mounts

beautiful truck. i really really like everything about this truck.
not sure if you covered this or not, but are you planning on any added core support for the front? i only saw the stock support on the rear of the front fender to the firewall. is there and more bracing needed for the radiator/core support ?

there is a tube running from the cab to front core support it holds my fuse box and ecu on one side and the other holds the intake and overflow
but i plan in the future to do and actual engine cage and clip and make my own core support

dont waste your money on a 5.3...give me a call i can get you a 6.0...and have a wiring guy that can hook it up to make the swap even easier. PM me if you want
