Thread: 01 Ranger Edge Build

So in the midst of summer, the project began...
Deadline: Thanksgiving Weekend

Started out with a bed cage but we chopped the whole back half off to 3 link it :]

And some pictures of the front/inside cage

the back half looks really good, as does the rest of the truck. is that your garage? looks really clean and big.

its not my DD, i have a different ranger for that.
but this one will still be street legal for a few joy rides

we own a family business automotive repair shop, so the fab shop is after hours haha :]

but hey if any of you need repairs send em on over, not fabbing, but the regular day to day issues.

i didnt lie, you asked if i can drive it on the street. so i said yes, you failed, however, to ask if it was my DD

18 up front, strapped at 25 in back

ill take it for the next 10years of christmas and birthday presents and valentines day easter whatever.. lol.. how much wheel travel does it cycle??

lucky you guys are still in business. thats what i have out here in riverside but i closed up shop.

yeah i mean theres slow days, but weve actually stayed quite busy
one thing helping is rather than buying new cars people are saving money and fixing the old one.

I don't think it will fit anymore, because it was quite a task getting it up there that time lol

The truck looks really good. Im liking the back half alot. Keep up the good work.

i had quite an experience the first time taking it up to the cabin. about half way to the cabin theres the steep up hill with all the boulders, a steep down/cliff on one side, and a steep uphill on the side. skinny little road. well i was going up and when i hit one of the boulders [i had no choice] it shoved the truck over pretty much wanting to go down the cliff. that was fun trying to slide the butt back on the road. second year went much more smoothly.. haha

the last time we went up there one of our quads did flip, so we stashed the quad in the bushes, she hopped in my passenger seat and we finished the ride up to the cabin haha

I rode to the cabin as a part of a 80mile loop. I could see how it could be lame on a 85 cause it sucked on a full size bike, So boring. I'm more into technical rides so that wasn't really fun.

Now back to this girls awesome truck!

I dont have 35s yet, so Ive gotta run 33s for now.

Hey truck looks great but tell your old man to make the lower bump pads a lot bigger! It would tear some stuff up to have your bump slide off those little squares. Keep up the good work!
