The front sags so thats all gonna be fixed hopefully soon. painting the front bumper aswell
Tossing around the idea of caging it, but i dono yet. will look completley different in the end.
More pics this week as it gets more work. Hope you enjoy it

and also i was talking to brian at cvp and he was saying you can convert wheels to beadlock? where would i go to do that? and if the rims are the same size, could i technically run ones off the mt classic locks?

those bars out side of the A pillars are to protect the windshield from branches and shit the branch will hit the bar and break/bend. rather it hit those bars then your window or a pillar.

I remember seeing this truck on here. Some chick owned it and her BF was starting to do the work on it and lost interest, on both accounts. Sounded like quite the domestic scrap.

Good to see someone picked it up and is finishing it.

i know a grand is a steal for sure. that rear end and shift kit is worth it imo. i wanna ditch the front glass and run original style glass, or round 96 glass but money is tight right now on it. So for now, im gonna paint it, and run it

pulling the clip off tomorrow and gonna start pulling useless wires, and clean everything up. how hard is it to replace a valve gasket?? its leaking oil down the side of the motor also gonna convert the american racings to beadlock. hoping to take it out by the end of the year. if i already have a cut cargo space, trussed 9 inch and what not, how hard would it be to link it?

the valve cover gasket is only a pain because the is a bunch of stuff in the way . to link it you need a fuel cell, links and mounts all the harware and stuff , coil overs, and a cage. Just alot of money haha .

i dont know whats wrong with the motor. but pull the plugs and check them?? if a valve cover leaks it could leak into the spark plug coil area and cause it to foul out. happens alot.

well from what i saw its the valve cover gasket i had the same problem with my old ranger. And its always idled ruff since we got it and it sat forever so it problly jus needs a tune up like fuel filter plugs and stuff.

I am considering either doing this, or buying some used... Almost comes out to the same price except i could sell my wheels to make some $. but to get 6 wheels done your looking at $1200. FOOK>

couple questions hopefully you guys will know a solution. when i close the driver door the door locks, and i cant open it with the key. do i need to get all new door locks? and only the driver side windows roll down, do i need new motors for the other ones? or just need a new window controller?

all of those are hard to answer without looking at it.
as far as windows go, id guess i wiring issue. dont think they would all fail except the one used most.

looking for a real cheap engine cage, or someone who can make one on the cheap near oc. got coilovers to throw on the front, then throw the fox resis in the rear. pulled the front clip off and it actually is not as tweaked as i once thought, just not bolted up right . look for updates by the end of the weekend.

im thinking just a hoop on each side. just so i can get the coilovers on, then eventually make a removable crossbar and all that. how much you thinking? and weld on or bolt on?

When I linked mine I used a Bronco II fuel tank mounted it behind the axle under the body, until I get a fuel cell. Worked out pretty good and it only cost $25 from a junk yard.

Id get some really fine sand paper and just sand it down then wash the whole truck then go to town on the spray paint.

the clip is really messed up and is chipped in places so wet sanding start with the thicker paper then go over it with the lighter stuff
