Thread: my 1986 toyota

well here we go its a lil late but who care here is a pic when i bought the truck


then i tore down for an ats mid travel kit



this is were the previous owner tried to make his own custom center mount arms

This kit was not on the truck one week then i took the truck up to jsi motorsports for a full race front end
Here is a pic of the new lower arms the kit will be 6in wider and pull 18in bumped and strapped


Here is the six lug spindle the truck if you didnt notice was a 5 lug




well here a start more updates soon to come

Pretty good start what are the plans race/play?... Can't go wrong with jsi's kit they do nice work. Btw good luck on your build

ya josh is a good guy he will be linking the truck also and i plan to race and play with the truck it will not be 1400 legal with the 383 and th400 that will be in it lol but it will be fun and thanks

1400 as in MDR/more? if so there are no motor restrictions.

well most 1400 and 1450 classes you have to have a motor that is by the manufacture of the body if i am wrong then thanks for letting me know lol thats what i read

ya both MDR and MORE have no motor restrictions in 1400 or 1450. 1500 has all the motor rules.

well here is a lil update got 3 th400 one that will be going into mine

here is the 350 chevy 4 bolt main just ordered the 400 crank to make 383

here are a set of corvette fi heads that will be port and polished to match a Weiand team g manifold


Here is a tundra rear end i got that will be trussed regeared and either have a locker or a spool still up in the air and a set of stock toyota rims for rollers and spares down the road

here are some updates truck is back and just talked to socalmoto and am getting some of his 48in trailing arms
the pic are his 60in but you get the idea

ok well its been a while this truck is gone along with the jsi kit picked this truck up about 2 months ago and I will be finshing this

here are some updates i needed a spare bad so my buddy had this spare tire mount that i just put in for the next couple months until i get the rest of the stuff to do the rear already have a fuel cell, 9in, tubing, just need leafs, hangers and shackles, bedsides also need shocks but may be tradeing my klx110 for some here are some pics
