    Default 2002 ranger build

I figured it was time for me to post up a build thread on my truck, so here is it with a bunch of pictures. I bought this truck stock just about two and a half years ago with plans of building it into a capable and fun prerunner that I could still easily drive daily, my plans were to have it done before I got my license but that didn't even come close. I ran out of money and as you all know, a prerunner is never done. Sloppy (miserymotorsportz) did all the cage work on it and I have recently began doing some work myself. The cage runs bumper to bumper, all under the headliner and stock interior/dash. Here are some pictures of the build, from start to present, hopefully soon it will either have 64's or links, I can't decide.

I don't have a picture of it stock, but you get the idea.

And this is how it sits today, hopefully I will sell my other truck soon and there will be some new updates.

Glad to see your keeping it man. I remember seeing you back in the day at bonsall flats driving a gold cart with a wakeboard tower on it or something.

Ya that was me in the golf cart, before I got my license my buddies and I would drive that thing EVERYWHERE, haha. It only went 13 mph but it was a hell of a lot of fun.

The third seat isn't too bad, but if you plan on having anyone but your girlfriend sit back there I wouldn't recommend it. Some pretty big people have gotten in that seat but after 10 or 15 minutes their legs go numb and they can't walk by the time we get to our destination.

Im ^ his brother and the third seat works pretty well now that he has lowered and moved the front seats outward. I'm 6'2" and can fit back there, just get a little numb after about 30min haha.

Got some new lights a few days ago. Pro Comp 9" HID's. I am in the process of building a light rack, it should be done in the next few days.

Thanks for the complements, if anyone wants a light rack i would be happy to build one.

Yes, I agree, I need 35's, but I don't think my stock 3.55 gears would like me too much. The link setup I am looking into buying comes with a 9" with 4.56 gears, so after that is done, I will get some bigger tires for sure.

Ya I don't think anything would break, I don't have the horsepower, but it would be slow as all hell, it is bad enough now.

Got the lower link mount points determined, the mounts are not done yet. There will be a boxed gusset up to the b pillar. This is around where it will bump though, I need some bigger bedsides!

Finally got some stuff done, upper link mounts are done, the lowers still need work. This is about where full bump will be. I will have around 12-15 inches of up travel from ride height.

Haha, 4 days would be nice. But between school and racing motocross, I get to work on the truck very little.
