man after going to the junkyard to find an ebrake cable off a 4x4 i saw all the 4 runners had the same e-brake set up as the 2wd trucks FML should have gotten one of those instead.

its a sky manufacture one. i think poly sells them also, i just chose to go to the source to save tax LOL. had it at my door in a few days. i was going to just build one, but sometimes i would rather spend the money then the hours and hours trying to make one perfect like this.

lol yea, not sure why toyota has different ebrake setups for the same model year from the 4x4 to 2wd.

i really have no idea LOL. its just something i saw at the junk yard. the truck had bilstiens (yellow body) shocks on it, low pro bump stops and a huge downey sticker on the hood i tried to get the shocks and bump stops but didnt really bring the tools needed to get those items. only went to the junk yard to pick up some brake fittings. i barley got the arms off and luckily the frame was already laying on the ground.

I plan on using the strut frame for my long travel kit i am building as its one less thing to make. looks some what similar to the TC ont.

a strut frame on a stock truck will do nothing other then be stronger, ive hit rocks and and stuff with the strut arms more times then i would have thought. once you get low-pro bump stops and get a little more travel out of it they done bind up like the stock bushing pivot does.

just? stock i think is like 4. so it should push the wheels out around 2 inches. hoping it will be real close to the fenders. i dont think it will rub, as currently the new axle is maybe 1.5" wider, and i am running 2" wheel spacers on the stock axle and i still have almost 2" extra room. so with no spacers i should be close but not touching.

well i hope so at lease LOL

answer is not yet trying to figure out what i am doing, either paint the whole truck white with a green roof and wheels (or maybe just a rim strip or bead lock) or paint the truck flat black with green roof and green strip on the rims. as i am getting rather tired of the two tone look i have going on now.

I was thinking something like that would look cool. and maybe all black rims with the stripe, and just 1 lime green spoke? just takin shots in the dark here. lol i guess it might look better with longer spokes? just my 2 cents

damn, even my front LT kit is only 74 or 75" wide on the front. rear is 69. offset my rims sucks for making it wide but it nice for scrub and wheel bearings.

yea, figured it might hurt the front, but front is curently running 2" wheel spacers anyways LOL. but this is just for the rear at the moment. so my scrub is allready shit and its been fine so far. wheel bearings i dont worry about that much about as i am upgrading to the 4x4 spindle soon. also keep thinking about 37s lol that way both my truck and fj40 share the same tire size lol
