You guys planning on some sort of axle wrap control with those diving board springs?
Is the leaf pack a modified version of some other pack, or a fully custom creation?

why are you replying like a typical moronic bro to every realistic question on here Helton? Sure it's DR so saying "siiiiick" and "get fucked" will get the little tool ass tards on here to think you're god, but to those with an IQ over 2 it just gets annoying.
So I'll take my question to Kieth - why the leafs instead of a link setup? Not knocking it at all as it's not my truck so do whatever you want. I'm just wondering if it was a "thinking outside the box" type experiment thing, or just to show you can get 29" of sick gnar travel without using links?? Whatever the answer is the work is nice as always - I just don't really understand.

I guess I'm confused as to why you would use D44 hubs as a shackle pivot. I thought you were going to use the D44 for a swaybar.
So why use it for the shackle pivot?
To reduce friction normally associated with a bushing? (aren't the front and rear pivots of the leaf springs still on a bushing?)
More torsional stability than a bushing?
Swing a greater arc length?
In any case, keep up with the pics because I like seeing new stuff like this (or at least new to me)

Usually I'm not serious at all & definitely can act like a 4 yr. old from time to time, so yeah get it - no big deal.
I'm also getting older though and so typical bro speak on here annoys the shit out of me for some reason. I swear our society is getting dumber day by day, but then again maybe I'm just turning into a grumpy old man.

But you're a just a grumpy YOUNG man Mike!!! And just to clear the record - I do try and get fucked. Often I'm trying it seems actually. Then again with all the slang terms today that I'm too old to understand now I might have just said something I really didn't mean.
Ok back to living under my rock...

jesus mcmotherfuckin christ, you guys derailed the fuck out of this thread........
so why did you use the hubs!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i wanna effing know!!!!
keith wanted to use a snout/hub as a shackle pivot because its a super strong, low maintanence, visually apealing, and easy to build way to hang a fuckin long shackle thats gonna see immense side loads in single shear off the side of a chassis thats gonna be carrying the weight of a heavy as fuck, long wheel base truck with big tires that gets the holy shit drivin out of it through hip high whoops on a regular basis.......you pickin up what im laying down?

From what I have heard the truck handles like a freaking dream and was borderline keeping up with Tonys F-150 over the rough.
