its a double wrap. one under and one over the main leaf. the top one is for anit-wrap up, its only a half leaf. it ends right after the axle.

yes the roof is open
i'm not sure on the tubing size
mud flaps are for mud... duh its in the name...lol, they also deflect rocks from the rear shocks, and the like

Really? Is that why they are about a foot in-board from where the shocks are mounted? SHock boots are made for protecting shock shafts. Im guessing that the flaps are to protect the rearend, fuel tank, etc.

originally the shocks were mounted right behind the mud flaps inboard of the frame rails. they were later moved out side the frame and over the leafs. the flaps were left becuase they still knock shit down from hitting stuff and look cool as hell too.

ya...the flaps remind me of the baldwin truck...until now the baldwin truck was the only one i have seen with it(i am sure there are more) i was thinking about doing something similar....

The owner is notorious for going real big. The flaps extend just prior too landing to create more lift and soften the landing. Even the herbts don’t have that

hey fuck you sporty spice! i havnt done a lick of work to this truck. my buddy is doing it all. he had a spark fall down behind the panel and the foam back there burned through. trust me, he wasnt happy. but shit happens.
