Thread: 97 ranger aka Kung Fu Panda

So i bought my truck in september. I had a baby blue ranger before this but sold it to 714RedneckRanger cuz he wrecked his gold abortion ranger. I bought the truck with 6.5 camburg limo beams, 14" king c/o's, deavers, 16" king triple bypasses, and a h&m tig welded bolt on bedcage. so heres the only pics of it when i first got it.


Then had to put on some glass in the rear!

Then i got tired of the lame bolt on bed cage so i gave it to lance (714redneckranger) and ditched the bed for a full bedcage. and thought id give the TT glass a chance.

there can only be on kung fu, and this isnt it lol

then after riding in keplers truck i realized that i HAD to link my truck! so now im gettin a cab cage, ditching the bedcage and giving it to my lil charity case Lance, and linking the truck. heres what ive got so far. Oh on a side note this is an after hours project so itll take some time to finish but should be bitchin when its done!
So first the bed cage had to go


and heres the stock pile of parts so far...

So ive gutted the cab. I dont have pics yet ill get some tomorrow. And then we cut the frame in half. We are going to run the Riviera spares so after bump we are building a tire carrier section.
I have a cell but its a jazz and im going to run it behind the cab and itll stick up to high to clear the upper links. so i gotta get a new one oh well. Ill be workin on it tomorrow and will be cutting holes in the cab and starting to put some tube in. cab will be 2" DOM and the bed cage will be 1 3/4" DOM.

Its like a canvas material and they are dirtbags. those are going to go on the rear c/o's now

Oh ok I've been looking into buying some for mine. But not sure if I want the canvice type or the ones from poly.so idk yet lol when's the date u have for this thing to be finished?

It should be done within 2 months im guessing. give or take

So we drilled out the holes and finished up gutting the cab.

I am pretty sure that picture was taken by the last owner, I think that was the picture in the ad when Greg was buying the truck.

So its been a while since ive had an update on my truck. Money got tight for a bit plus i had to save up to buy this...

And also decided to go 4 link instead of 3 so the axle needed to be changed.
this is after cutting off the top

ill prob be adding a truss to the bottom as well and obviously have to add the piece up top for the heims. should be faster updates from here on out

are you planning on having the housing checked or DGAF and run it? truss isnt out very far thats why im wondering

Dropped it off to Sunds to have him finnish it. Boy does he have his work cut out for himself lol.

Hell yea cant wait to see what Sunds does with this! My truck came out amazing I know this will be bad ass when its finished!
