what about the stock inner tie rods?
what about the stock inner tie rods?
BLITZKRIEG
You know, I am not sure if this is something I should be overly concerned with. I have not had any issues with steering since I have ran the truck; but again I have never ran it at speed for more than a few minutes. Are inner tie rods usually a concern for trucks with stock pivots?
I'm still upset you didn't sell me your truck. So I bought an 07 tacoma 4x4 long travel instead for more money... sad day.
You know, driving with your eyes closed seems to work all the time...30% of the time.
Guess I should add some updates since it's been a while. So, since I had the front end re-worked I have put over 300 dirt miles and a little over 1000 street miles on the truck and it has done really well so far. There will be some new updates to the front end though making it 100% BTF built. But other than some valving changes and re-routing the rear brake lines the truck is super solid and I am overall very happy with it.
Swapped my lug patter to 6x5.5 and picked up some new wheels and tires.
Finally got around to trimming my bedsides, no more smashed glass thanks to travisfab.
First desert trip for the puppy!
I am hoping to be starting on the rear panelling here real soon, so hopefully Ill have some more updates in the next month or so.
Is this like the 10th set of wheels and tire you have had on?
When we go carelessly careening quickly Screaming all the way
Gravity is such a drag And we will not obey
fuck your truck is sick.

Sweet build! Don't see many of these.
change of plans on the spare tire mountig egh?
But overall badass truck GLWS!!!
I believe I have tried almost every tire manufacturer haha, 4 different sets of BFG's, 1 set of Generals (never again), 1 set of Khumo's, 3 sets of ProComp's (worst tires evvvaarr!), and 1 set of Nittos. Not counting the stock wheels, I have had ProComp, KMC's, Walkers, and now the Methods. So, pfft....not even close to 10...shit ninja!
Anytime homie, hit me up as soon as you get your truck back on all fours and we'll set up a fun trip!
buuuuuummmpppprrrrrsssss
Unfortunately the 37's won't fit below the floor, so if I stacked them flat mounted I could only run a single spare that would take up the majority of the floor space. Ill try and find a picture...but the way my spares are mounted now I can fit a full size bike with plenty of camping gear and 2 spares in.
