I cut the glass for clearance reasons. They started as perrys.
Thanks man. The bolt came out because he tore it all down for paint and reused the nut and didnt tq it, or even check it after its first trip. He didnt even know the bolt had fell out till he tried to turn around at the end of the whoops. Guess he found the bolt a 1/4-1/2 mile back in the sand.

Truck looks great man, Ive seen this thing up close and the work is top notch. Clean looking truck for sure!
I was the dude with the white tacoma that took emt at weil.
Sick truck its coming out nicely. My buddy wants me to help him make a kit for his 150 and im glad i stumbled on to your build. What would you recommend for budget spindles? I may just have him do something similar to what you did, but he might have some cash for some now.
budget spindles? lol this was about as budget as it gets. lift spindle drilled and tapped for a 1.25 heim
Any finished pics of the bedcage?
By budget spindles I meant a cheap lift spindle or fabbed spindle. I may just make some custom ones though cause it would be cheaper that way.
The truck looks great
still isnt finished. i started it and havent heard from emo besides a call a few weeks ago. hes pretty busy with his new job too.
for a good fabbed spindle expect to spend around 5-600 just to build it yourself. a lift spindle from aim, fabtech, racho, rough country is all the same. they will work for awhile.

Not quite that much, we have a waterjet, cnc and plasma and mastercam and solidworks at the high school my buddy goes to so basically its just going to be materials, snouts, and uniballs. The high school has an unbelievable metals and engineering shop
Wow, nice. I thought I was badass for having a plasmacam available to me in highschool. It's allot of work but if you know what your doin your set.
