that's pretty sick! how did you come up with the design for the arms?

he designed it all he is going to plate it too, its a mix of the mazzula and chaos kit

what determines the angle of the lower uniball? and what holds it in place on the jig? is it just eyeballed? I might be missing it in the pics?

the mock up kit cycled all the geometry. the cup dont pull as it is set for a degree not location. the tubes hold its location. and befor its welded 360 the cup will be locked into a solid mount.

what kind of spindle are you running

lift spindles right now. though later down the road Brandon can upgrade to a full fab'd upright(spindle) with a new upper control arm.

oh and just for reference purposes, mcdirt ordered .188 tubing and when i picked it up it was .250 wall.

If it's not too late, have him clock those bushing housings so that you can actually reach the zerk and lube it. Looks good so far, but those are going to be some heavy lowers if they're all .250"

Those are going to be some crazy heavy arms with .250. Is it me or are those arms super wide?

Can't tell how wide they are from the pics, but 97-03 f1's have long lower control arms from the factory due to the relatively narrow mounting points. The most common size I've seen from reputable companies is about 4.5" over per side.

the zerks are there for mockup, its getting 90* zerks when all is said and done. the arms are 5 inches over and travel should be at 16 inches strapped. the arms are going to be plated with 3/16 and left as is. they might get one or two interal ribs. 250 wall is overkill but if you saw how BPF150 drove you would see why its probably good insurance they are this thick haha.

haha thanks to you i have a lower main bar bent for my push bar from pismo lol but the arms are big enough for a coil over and bypass

what size of tubing is that 2, 2.5?

1.5 inch

put the damn kings on already fuck...lol now all you need is rear shocks and your bed cage and your G2G with some shock tuning

Dirt is on a break for alittle bit to recooperate from everything going on. I wish he would finish your kit I miss my truck but dirt is an awesome guy. I will only hope for the best for him.

man your fuckin arms were hot today even 20 mins after he got done welding them. the plan is to have this arm completed this weekend and start on the other arm. got a bunch of plate cutting to do this weekend.



nick, your trucks so close to being done its not even funny lol(ok it is alill bit) as soon as this kits done its onto your truck and you know dirt can sling tubes like crazy. i see it being finished very fast when hes ready.
