where did you get those body mounts? and hard to tell from the pic are they a composite hard plastic?

cage is lookin good and those seats are sexy haha u shoulda went with a bigger diameter of body mount to cover more surface area,mine are a lil bigger than urs,but ur gonna be caged and tied in so idk ahha nvm.. lol looks good

the body mounts are just solid round steel painted so it wont rust.. haha someday ill get matching harnesses and get the headrest re-upholstered but for now im just going to run them how they are, at least till the cage gets done.

how big are your solid body mounts? my buddy is running the same thing on his truck and he hasnt had a problem with his yet

By the time we tie into it we won't have any problems. We already have it all figured out and there will be ALOT of plating to the cab... I wanted to run 3" but all we could find around here is 2.5"

im running 3 inch...2.5 is no biggie especially since ur caging it

Bump from the dead! Ha well here's an overview of what has happened since I last posted in this thread. Well my cousin re-built the tranny for me with mustang GT internals and a B&M shift kit, that thing shifts so fast its badass ha. Then work was out of control and I was so busy I never had anytime to work on the truck, so the holes in the floor got taped over and the carpet was put back in. Then in October I tore a ligament in my foot and couldn't walk for 3 months. So I lost my job and have been out of work since. But for the actual truck a couple months ago I picked up a set of black aluminum rims. Since money is tight now I've been putting off getting new tires for awhile. But the other day I came across a good deal on 5 33' bfg ats and couldn't pass it up. I got those things mounted today and wow! Ha the truck rides so much better now! Sorry for the rant that's just what has been going on in my life ha... now for the pics (:

Thanks a lot guys! It really motivates me to keep working on it. The full build is coming up on 2 years. I bought my first set of shocks for the rear at the 2010 laduc swap meet and that's when it all began. Its been a long 2 years haha. But I sold the rims that were on the truck but I might have one more, ill go check and pm you about it.

update it to the 01 front end! looks way better. i did it to my old truck made a worl of difference!

Damn it looks good with all clear lights up front! I'm thinking of getting the clear corners too or just updating the front to a 01+

Thanks guys.. I like this front end, you don't see it that much so I'm going to keep it...

Went out to lucerne Fri/sat for my friends birthday, and watch a little of the 500. Put a lot of dirt miles on the truck and had a blast! Can't wait to put the 64 kit on ha, the rear has a hard time keeping up with the front. On a good note had no problems with the truck other than having the cap come off of a power steering fluid bottle in the tool box and now my tool bag and all tools are covered in fluid :/ that will be fun to clean ha.

Yeah I don't like the sleeper look, I wanted to mount the shocks up as high as I can so everyone can see lol
