Get a rear road armor bumper, that should give you enough weight in the rear.

I am looking to get the DBR kit for my truck and was wondering how extensive the install is. Is it pretty much bolt on besides welding the shock hoops or is there anything else that requires some welding?

Been there with the hubs. My suggestion is to buy ONLY Timken hubs. You will save alot of cash and problems in the long run.

I called timken and they said that their bearings aren't any better then the stock ones. They actually supply the bearings for some of the manufactures.
I bought mine from napa with life time warranty and already had to replace one w/o an issue. Don't get the ones made in china the USA ones have timken bearings, they are about 100 bucks more but that's one part you don't want to go cheap on.

Bummer man. In that second pic it seems like it wasn't welded all the way around, or is it just too dirty to tell?

Thats why you want to plate the frame where you add tubes that are under a lot of stress, because as you can see the frame is actually pretty thin and the tubing 99% of people use for off road is much stronger.
    Plate it!

Looks like its mostly just the doors and the rocker panel. I say fix it unless the cab is tweaked. or get a new cab

glad youre ok. from the pics it doesn't look bad at all. doors, new fender, maybe an excuse to do the bed sides. Im assuming you got tagged as it was your fault? the accident happened in the suicide lane right?
