Did you at least get in some good miles before the steering went?
I also have to shorten mine. My goal is to make them hit on the last 3" of wheel travel, so whatever that equates to at the bump is what I'll run.

Ya I don't mind them being short, the shocks hold up well throughout wheel travle so the bumps are just a bonus, the power steering snag didn't slow me down any, we fixed it on shell reef expy. Just needed a hose clamp, fluid and a good wipedown, not sure how many miles I got in, I'm thinking 20 to 30 haha it was enough to shake it up some

Ya working on a few things right now, got a lil list of shit to fix ,trying to make the memorial.
Changing harmonic balancer to the right oz weight, over flow radiator bottle, extend the float vent tubes on the carb, put correct length limit straps on the rear, shorten the front bumps 2 inches and a few other things

It's a Baker Expo front fender. The door and hood lines are really close, but for obvious reasons the headlights is way off hahA

It will be interesting to see, getting the fender wide without looking odd near the grill will be difficult. I think I would move the headlights outward a couple inches and then widen the grill area to make it up.

Motor is a bob crowder/dougan built small block ford, solid roller lifters, ford motorsport ported heads, boss crank and rods, f303 ford cam, weiand excelerator intake with a holley 700 double pumper, I bought the short block off a buddy who had it in his 66 drag mustang, used to run 7.80 in the 1/8 at perris, I built and assymbled it the rest of the way. Clip is on its way trust me, I wanna drive this around town so bad!

Yea I got home Friday around 5 from outta town. Maybe next time around or what not. Or shot even if were out there it only takes a Lil bit to get them off and on. But a warning don't put them on unless your ready o order some. Once you drive your truck with bypasses you'll hate it without. I drove mine for a year no bypass just a lot of valving. And holly shot it's like a whole new truck. Deff a must have on links.
