Well, it's been a while since I updated my build.

Only thing new is I replaced my leaky power steering box with a new one.

    Old:

Only hard part was the power steering lines, needed to get a ride to the auto parts store to get better flare wrenches.

Now my rear axle seal is leaking a little bit. I cleaned my diff breather which was completely clogged and most likely caused the seal to blow. So hopefully it slows the leak down a little.

    Bad side:

I replaced my rear axle seal and got the bearing replaced.

After that I got bitched at by the apartment management for working on my truck in the parking lot haha. Besides that, not really any updates, I've just been working and going to school.

Although, I have been thinking about getting an FJ60 as a DD and do work on my truck when I live in a place with a garage someday.

Hey how much did your frame shop charge for reworking your frame? I think mine is a little out a wack from the previous owner and it would be nice to get it fixed!

    Thanks

Looking at the papers, looks like they charged me $136 to take measurements, which was from their $68/hr frame labor rate.

Then this is from the second set of papers after the work was done.

Man, does time fly by. I can still remember how pissed I was when a guy came to get an estimate of the damage, and wrote it only needed an alignment after I pointed out the frame was obviously bent. It was all covered by insurance and I'm glad it's fixed now, but I was so pissed having my friend butting in when he was with me at the shop and all the stress building up from having them make it sound so complicated to just have my truck repaired, I was gonna tear everyone there a new one. Makes me wanna have a beer now.

    Anyways, haha, hope that helps.
