if you dont mind me asking, why did you mount the cooler so far back on the bedcage? not tlaking crap or anything.

Im going to make a storage box in the empty space in front of the cooler

Mount the radiator completely and make an exhaust and should be good to go. And only started the motor once and it sounded good so just need to get it running and actually drive it to see if any bugs are present

No I'm going to school for mechanics. Brad (EsbYota) has been helping and teaching me all the fab work

Got to drive the truck around!! It was pretty exciting haha

Just a couple more days cleaning everything up and finish up some other things and she should be back on the road again.............Finally!

what happend to the "R" "A" and "G" ? where are the centers?

Believe "racing" is in a different font that couldn't cut the letters out to keep the centers.

my plasma cam sucks for cutting out letters... expecially small stuff like that. so therefore certain letters dont get the center part unless its a big enough piece. haha

I wouldn't say sleeper but just trying to keep it nice and clean for the most part.

Well just to update........

The block and crank were destroyed and had to go on a hunt for some new parts!! Was not to excited about doing this but all well always good to be fresh on how to build a motor. So i found a shortblock out of a 91 mustang that was a roller block. It was an HO motor so it had a little bigger cam than the explorer motor when i measured the lift on them which was cool. Got the block decked, honed and Vatted. Did a valve job on the heads. Got new pistons as well. And once i got it all back it was time to put it all back together again......

























And finally all back together........... Again........

I have put about 500 miles or so on the motor sincei rebuilt it and am pretty happy with the results. Here is a little video of it running after the rebuild
