So after looking at Project Falkor, i decided to go hit it hard and put the new rearend in, and get the driveshaft hung, and take it for a little spin around the yard, still gotta top off the rearend with oil, run back brake lines and brakes, then start on the rear cage and gonna mount a 22 gallon fuel cell with two 33" spare's upright in the rear, get shocks and front glass

Very cool truck! I have a couple questions for you. Up front, how much travel do you have, and how much of it is bump and how much is droop? Also, what rear leaves did you end up going with?
Thanks man, up front with the stock radius arms im pulling 13" of travel, if i remember right 4" til bump and 9" droop, for the rear i ended up just making a custom leaf pack, so i used the stock main leaf and added a f100 pack to mine so it has 5 leafs, rides really good so far ive only been able to drive it at slow speeds cause i dont have shocks yet,but im sure with the new shocks itll be soft and perform well.
Remeber.. keep it simple !! Looking good tough.. Im still stuck with the nine inch :/ situation
I know simple is easy to say but like you've said before you want more and more! So today I ordered shocks and fiberwerx front 6" bulge fiberglass, next is gonna be a simple rear cage design, I have ideas on what I want to do but no definate plan yet, and I have to adjust the pinion angle as our work bench at work leans forward so the angle is off so.I'm gonna get a 4° shim kit and will be good to go, doing the nine inch was a lot more work.than I planned to its been four months since I started the swap! But its worth it in the end
hahaha .. oh well ... you in now man .. just spend your money right and try for a cab cage soon ..yup Ive learned that nine inch diff are kinda tough to build and install in rangers.. Ill get mine in soon ... but your truck is giving me inspiration to get back on the ball on mine !! looking real pro now !! keep at it !!

Well I'm glad I'm inspiring you I got inspired by project falkor and then I was determined to get the truck done, I dropped $1200 bucks into it today, but its well worth it, it hasn't been driven since September 16th so its been a while, I think yours has been over a year now right, that's gotta drive ya crazy, lol, I think I'm gonna do the rear and front cage then tie it all together through the cab,

Jealous of the progress! What vehicle did you pull the 9" from? its looking alot better with the added width
Little BS update got my tubing ordered today going with 2"x.120 dom for the rear cage
Coming along nicely! This is about the look im going for with my 91. One question though...Have you noticed any problems with running the stock radius arms? I didnt thing you were able to run them with a 5.5 in lift but i guess you can. Any way you could get a few pics and post them up of what they look like at ride height ? I am gathering parts up and planned on building new radius arms after i got everything together.
With the 5.5 coils I had to cut one and a half coils off to get them to work with the stock radius arms or else they would have been fully extended and bind up the radius arm bushing ill try to get some pics up soon I'm in the process of moving and just got a lot going on
Lol, dude, you should redo your brake lines before you snag them on something.
Looks good BTW. Whens the rear glass coming?
Harbor Freight Tools Co. makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and durability standards, and warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date of purchase.........or after one use. After that go screw yourself lol.
ive had the brakelines like that for a while and havent had any problems with them yet! lol, im gonna work on the rear cage here within the next month and hopefully i can get rear glass soon after! ive just been to busy between moving and getting my welder set up, i got all my tubing already, so more progress to come and i wanna try to come out sometime next month so we can go play with the trucks! and ride dirtbikes to!
went and played with the truck today performed great til i made a wrong turn and ended up stuck in a foot and a half of mud, thanks to some locals they pulled me out, bad thing is i burned up my clutch and broke my exhaust hanger, made it home but now im bummed cause i gotta fix it, oh and the guys friend that watched him pull me out said i was slinging mud 50 ft in the air said it was awesome

Truck is coming along good. Quick question are your beams 4.5 inches over?
Rather be broke going fast other than rich and in a jeep going slow
