not much goin on here yet, but im starting to find parts.

so far i got a trussed 9" with 4.56s and spool, some 16" fox coilovers, it looks like im winning the auction for a 32 Gal jaz fuel cell, and im picking up a complete chevy 350 sometime this week. im gonna be workin on this thing outside, so ive definately got to rattle can it soon. My bender is on the back porch right next to it and the welder reaches out there. Too much goin on this week, but i shall start giving updates when i can.

    Nice. Love the older fords.

And is it just me... or does the body look quite low on the frame??

it is. I am going to need to come up with some ideas for the floor pan. Also i need to make sure there is clearance on the body when it is bumped. id understand dropping it a little bit for a lower stance, but i may even have to limit the uptravel a lil bit to allow about 6 inch between the ground and the body

I just got a never used jaz 32 gal fuel cell for 250 bucks

if your working on it outside buy one of those canopy things for parking cars under works great for keeping the water off of it. what are you going to be doing for the front end on it?
Go that way really fast, if something gets in your way...turn.

i havnt decided on that yet, it currently has 7/8" kingpins with front steer spindles. I think it would be badass to build some equal length beams with D44 ends, like i did on my old ranger, but i may just want to keep it simple

    nice ride, keep us up-to-date!
Horsepower is fun, but torque gets it done.

well, i finally have an update, but i need to get rid of the truck. As you can see there is not much to it and i dont have the time for it. i ended up getting a good deal on a 70 f100 with the toploader 4-sp and a 360. it runs ok(smokes a lil) and has play in the shifter. I found it for 800 bucks. I thought it was gonna be beat to hell b4 i looked at it and i was gonna build it. It ended up being really nice for the pricem and Id feel bad cutting it up. So i am gonna be getting another ranger to build after i get rid of this 68. Much cheaper, especially the fiberglass, already has power steering on the front and power brakes and i have a ton of parts to start.

The 68 that this thread is about is goin up for sale.

heres the truck i just bought. It has barely any rust and a nice interior
