Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. Hopefully I get this thing some axles so I can mob it up in the snow and see how it handles.

That's what I was worried about, so I'm not sure I am going that route if Aaron has some axles in right now.

On that note... I'm going to give him a call on Monday and see if I can order me some axles!!!

About damn time!! Can't wrap my head around why it took so long to get the axles, but you're gonna love it though!

Just to make things clear, I don't have the axles yet. But if Aaron has them in, then a set of them are mine.

I'm going to have to recall my statement. I can't say if I do or not. Kit was never shipped..

I might just get used axles and extend them myself and see how they hold up. The worse thing that could happen is going back to 2wd! Haha

No, I can't get a hold of aaron. That shit is almost not worth the effort and my time. My plan of action is to build my own right now. I'm going to get measurements as soon as the 930 cv's come in. Then I found a shop that has pre-measured axle shafts.

Yep.. Seems like a lost cause to me.. I'll probably convert to manual locking hubs and just extend a set of stock axles and strap it to 12" travel and see what happens

I ended up with an 01' sport trac with a 4x4 DBR kit. Let me know if I can help with axle measurements etc.

Yeah I got it bud but I have not contacted him yet. Summit sells new axle shafts for $100/pair plus shipping. I'll be going to my local junkyard next month when the have the 50% off days ad get a pair an see how much travel I can get when I extend them. I'll get legit shafts when my rear end is done and that'll be in the summer since the guy I was getting the setup from had to wait 6 months to sell.

Shafts aren't the problem, it's the adapter for the cv joint to the spline that goes into the diff, if anyone can get some detailed pics of that then I'm sure a machine shop can get something going easily

No luck on the axles yet on my end. Been a little busy visiting Cali. I wish we had this weather up in Washington. Hopefully I'll start ordering the axle parts to build something.

Might just pull the trigger on some factory axles and extend them myself for the time being. Once DBR gets some axles in or someone else makes another reasonably priced extended axle for the ST I'll swap over to those.

Gotta do something because the snow is coming down now and my truck was not having it. I actually went for a test run around the block to see if the ST could hang, definitely ended up sliding sideways down a hill.

blklvl2- If Aaron does have the axles, I can't get ahold of him to buy them anyways. I wanted to build my own but I couldn't find any adapters to run the high angle 930 cv's. Oh well, I'll get some one of these days.

Demo- My bumps are both 2.5" stroke front and back

So I finally ordered some factory 4x4 axles for the front. I plan to just cut them in half and extend them myself. I need my 4wheel drive and I don't have the time to sit around and wait for DBR to answer their phones or messages. Hopefully this works out well and gets me through the winter.

I know right... It's been a while. And these won't even allow me to really use the suspension to its fullest. still going to have to get some different cv's (high angle/930)

are the stock inner cups weldable? are you planning on cutting them and making a plate for the 930 to bolt to?

I'm a DBR fan all the way, and I've had plenty of positive experiences with Aaron over the years, but how hard is it to return a phone call or email? By now you could have whittled your own parts! I hope you get this resolved soon bud, after this long of a wait, I'd bypass DBR (out of frustration) and contact JD fab/BMS, both of which have plenty of 4wd kit experience and see if they might be able to help you out. The only problem is your location, so you'd have to ship parts back and forth but I'm sure you've had plenty of experience with that by now. Good luck to ya, hope you can get the 4wd functional asap!

I'm glad someone else understands! I'm still a big fan of DBR, the LT kit is awesome. I just wish I would've ordered my kit a little sooner, so that I could've got the axles w/o any issues. But at this point I might just send out my axles this summer to BMS or JD fab like you mentioned and see if they can make me something. Frustration is the key word here!

I'm not sure... but I'm going to take out the original inner cups that have been taken apart and see if there is a chance to weld to them, hopefully I can build my own to keep the cost down a little.

Any updates on cv's? I'm probably going to order a set of these Made in USA 300M race axles (sold in pairs). These race quality axles are made from the finest materials available. Choose your length and spline. Available in 934 spline. Click here for 934 axles. and plug them into the stock cv parts until a custom adapter can be made

Thats a good find! But are those the correct spline for the stock cv's though?

I'm pretty sure Dixon uses the stock outers which is the same spline count as a 930 however I have no clue if they will fit into the inners.. I wasn't even able to get the stock shafts out of the outers without a grinder so I'm hoping someone else can come up with the info :s Im going to try and find some 930 cv/shaft parts out of a European auto wrecker to see what fits where as soon as I'm finished school and collecting a paycheck again
