Default 1992 Toyota Pickup long travel build

Hello everyone. Just joined and decided to show yall what I'm up too. I own a 1992 toyota pickup with only 70,000 miles on it and it's used as my daily driver. Ordered a T.C. Gen II caddy kit in december and have been waiting this whole semester of school to go back home and get it put on the truck. Krawl Tex in Austin will be installing the kit. As for now I do not plan to do any high speed desert racing but more trail riding so I'm not sure what i want to do for the rear suspension. Any way's on to some pictures. Should be getting the T.C. kit installed on May 10 so I will keep everyone updated.

Wow, clean truck, but you should lose the pushbar before it ends up in Crappy Fab. How did you score such a nice low mile truck?

My dad owned it then garaged it for a couple of years. I started using it for college and here it is. Yeah this is how it sits right now and actually that push bumper is strong as hell lol but it won't be on the truck for long. Going to put glass fenders from mcneil and a tube bumper with a 1/8 inch aluminum skid plus 4 HIDed hella 700's on it.

1/8" skid is good for deflecting weeds, but 1/4" is better for off road.

Are you planning on bypasses for the front later on? If so, get some Deavers and bypasses for the rear, and maybe a T100 axle to match the track width up front.

Are bypasses really necessary? It's going to be a trail rig for now maybe down the road it will see some more higher speeds.

bypasses are not necessary at all. it allows for more tuning, but if youre doing trail stuff just do a simple resi.

Yeah, if you are just cruising trails bypasses are not necessary, maybe even a waste of money. It's more important to match your front and rear travel, damping and track width.

I know a lot of people are against running wheel spacers but for what I'm doing would that be ok to match the front track or at least get close to it? I know on other forums i've seen people do it with no problems.

LOL, you beat me to it, I was going to say the same thing.
Harbor Freight Tools Co. makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and durability standards, and warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date of purchase.........or after one use. After that go screw yourself lol.

Thanks. Passenger's side went on fairly easy but i had to force the driver's side a little. I ordered them from Mcneil Racing.
