Small update. I was voted in as a member of the Kingsburg 4wd Club tonight. I had to pay my dues for the Cal4wheel membership and the club membership. I received my club logos and will receive my cal4wheel packet in June when the club renews their membership. There is a lot of politics, rules, and regulations but so far it seems like a fun organization. Im going to try to get the club to participate in a desert clean up (hopefully OCD's next event).

Got a pair of LED 6 inch oval tail lights molded into the bed. I like the way they turned out. Now i will actually be seen! Those 37 year old stock tail lights aren't very bright lol. Eventually i will get some LED bulbs for the stock tail lights so they will be in sync with the new ones when i hit the brakes or use the turn signals. Now i have to notch my tailgate to clear the lights when i do use it.

I couldn't find a spot for the licence plate. I didn't wanna drill any more holes in the bed. I just zip tied it around the hitch and notched it to fit flush. The zip ties are temporary lol.

Put locks on the ammo cans and spare tire, and mounted the licence plate. Also pulled the front drive shaft to get it rebuilt. all new head assembly, u joints, and balanced. I was getting a nasty vibration that made the truck scary to drive over 45 mph. 180 bucks later

These locks are pretty cool. Dust covers for the key hole, all rubber coated, and one key works for all.

I usually get all my hardware from OSH. I'm in there so much some people think I work there cause they see my truck out in the parking lot all the time lol. hey I got rid of those foxs for some fab work on my truck FYI. Gonna be ordering a stick from B&B In Bakersfield hopefully next week to get my bumper started.

Yea. I came up on a pair of bilstien 5150s. I figured it would be easier to run them and not have to build new shock towers. They bolt up to the factory points.

Hey thanks man. It's a fun truck so far. Ive only had it for a year, pretty much just been getting it reliable enough for a DD. There's been a few traildusters/ramchargers built out there. Check out the bobs big boy ramcharger. You'll find it on google.

I grew up around mopar also, it runs in my blood. Mostly muscle cars and jeeps when I was a kid, then when I was able to by my own vehicle I just had to have a truck.

Get to pick up my rebuilt driveshaft tomorrow! Thank god, I need to do some wheelin this weekend. Also ordered my tubing to start my front bumper. 20' of 1-3/4, 20' of 1-1/4, and 2' of 3/16"x2" plate. Finally some more progress!

Yea adding a little skid, but its hard with a leaf spring truck. The skid plate wont be that big.

    somethin like this...

but once we add the skid it will be something like this, dont hate on my ghetto paint skills lol

I'm thinkin of keeping the bumper raw metal and just clear coating it. I love that look. We will see how it turns out. I also gotta find 3 more lights, or take the lights out behind the grille and find one more hella. Not sure what to do yet...what do you guys think? Add 3 more lights on the bumper? Or take the lights out behind the grille and add those to the bumper?

I don't think the bumper will be high enough to be in the way of the lights behind the grille, but if i have 3 on the bumper i think that would be way to many lights lol. I might just look for one 8 inch light and put the two 6 inch lights on both sides on the bumper.

the two behind the grill look cool, but i think if you add 3 more to the bumper it would be too much, so maybe take em out n add em to the bumper with one more
