Changed wheels since the rear ones have a wobble.

Got the rear steel wheels straightened, so I'll mount my new tires on those.

Starting to get back into it and got the alternator relocation bracket welded on.

Built a set of traction bars since I was getting alot of wheel hop.

Holy hell does it ever hook up now!!

If I only had decent tires with traction.

nice job on the traction bars. i have always liked that design over slapper bars or the truss/shackle design

It was either this style or the James Duff ones. These are simple to make and I just needed $10 worth of hardware. I had everything else in the shop.

Took a few minutes today and installed a fiberglass roll pan. It's from a 93-97 ranger, so it will need just minor work to make it fit perfect. As it is, it fits pretty damned good on a gen2.

Was going to sell the truck after thinking about all the work needed to convert it to automatic. Decided to keep it and it's not going to get boosted. I'll convert it to automatic so I can drive it and finish the paint work this summer. That's where it will end. Been collecting parts for the bronco. Too many projects going right now. Want to concentrate on one and get it done right.

Had a couple buddies come out and give me a hand with the trans this past weekend. I had gotten a 4x4 2.9L trans and I picked up a 2wd trans from a 2.3L turbo coupe. So with a bit of swapping parts we made a 2.9L 2wd trans with floor shift. I have nearly all the parts now. Just need to get cooler lines and get the broken/rusted manifold bolts out and threads cleaned.
