Well some of you know. Donovan rolled his truck at huckfest 2011. so what better time to put it on the side of the house and start the engine swap. putting a 6.0 liter iron block chevy in it backed with a th400. also steeping up to the 4x4 beam ends from Goeff at GIANT. goals for the truck is to get it to RATR in December. uploading pictures right now should of some up by the ends of the night!

Ok, makes sense. Roll the truck with a little V6, now lets put a big ass motor in it so he can roll it going even faster.

winning, got the motor in the truck for mock up. going to have some issues with the p/s pump location and being right where the steering box mounts, other than that. motor is back like 8 -10 inches and will start mocking it up for front cross-member and engine/trans mounts tomorrow sometime.

the motor just chillin for now

I am in the same boat i want to add the same thing to my 2004 f150
Because i am really not happy with the 5.4 power and some electronic stuff the car keeps on going into safe mode
On at least every desert trip
My question is this hard to do what problems are you facing right now and what ecm did you use or is it a stand alone
My car is a 4x4 would i have problems engaging into 4x4 with the th400

Well the truck has been at a stand still for to long!!! deff need to put some work in this weekend. i still have the GIANT 8'' equal length beam kit for sale it has everything accept the four pivots asking 800.00 to go toward the new front end.For now ill be running the stock ecu and the stock harness after i trim the fat off of it.and to everyone else I want to see it done tooo so put the word out about my front end!!!!!

Yes they are 5X4.5 BUT im also selling my six rims that are the same M/T classic locks pc gloss black and the rings are sand blasted ready to go what ever color you want

he had to buy new stand alone engine management for his eclipse

Shit is happening!!!! Danny is cutting out some motor mounts, some one is comeing to get my old beams, geoff at GIANT MOTORSPORTS will be starting my new ones on monday, and thanks to GOGOGADGET BEAMS i now have a better idea of wat i want to do to get the motor running after its mounted.Should have more pix in a week or two as i only really have one day a week to work on it.

What do those old rims look like?

Well they look like m/t classic locks that have been sandblasted and powdercoated gloss black they have a few chips in the finish but i can always just have them redone if you feel like buying them
