    Default Project 96 ranger #2

Well as most of u know I have been out of the seen for a while now after selling my black ranger I saved from a salvage yard and built it up pretty good in only a year and family forced me to sell it for a family truck, well now I'm back into another ranger and ready to kick this thing off and start another toy! (& finish it this time). Well to start off the truck is a 1996 ford ranger ext cab, when I first got the truck it had a 2.3 5 speed in it,wel since then I have put an 2001 4.0 soch v6 in it with a 5 speed auto. Stock 210 horsepower compared to the 2.3 which is maybe 100 haha. The truck already had an h&m equal length kit,14 2.5 kings and foa 6" 2.5 bumpstops, I have swapped out te 14s for 12's do to the ride height I have desired the rear of the truck has deaver g50 pack along with gmr hangers and 14" 2.5 smoothbodys in the rear with simple bedcage. My plans for the truck is full cage bumper to bumper, threat motorsports cnc lasor cut and bent equal length box beam kit, cross over steering and the rear either link killer kit or daves links ect ect.. Well enough gibber jabber here's the truck and what it looks like now, remember this is my daily driver but being on down time for having other stuff to drive unlike last time it will see alot more getting done sooner well here my project #2
The day I brought it home

    The side view of shocks/kit

    Rear shocks/bedcage

    Front of truck

It dosent do this anymore I know it's cool but handled like crap lol

Fixing a few things and hooker travel lol

    Another

Just messing around at the shop

    New clip: fenders,header panel,fiberglass hood

I still have alot off fitment to do with the new clip but it's work in progress lol well thats it for right now on pics I have plenty more I will post up but that will get me started again.thanks everybody

no devin. you dont need to do that to convert it. same as an explorer conversion like i did mine. just brackets to the og core support.

oh and btw this truck is fucking gay adam! you and brian need to make a nother light rack for me

Yea I bolted the fenders and the hood on and then did the header panel and bolted it to the fenders cause that is what made everything squar and where it should be,and then the stock brackets for the header panel to the core support I just drilled the holes and bolted it up,super easy just a matter of getting everything to line up but then again it's all fiberglass so u have to work with that seeing hoe nothing is as squar and perfect as the stock parts r lol.. I will get pics for u tomorrow bud.

well i have my fiberglass fenders and they work with the header panel. so those 2 bolts (1 per fender) would hold it up but looks like a pretty big gap from the bracket to the core support
