NOOOOO not two race trucks! One costs to much as it is. Just going to build this truck one time from all the things i have learned with the race truck. Side note if it doesn't rain this weekend i might have some tubes in it!

Got a good amount of work done today. I will put up more pics tomorrow after i get some more done. I think i should have the cab cage tube work about wrapped up by next weekend. Can't wait to start getting the Engine cage going so i can see how she sits with the TC kit on it.

The cage is coming along pretty good too. All the diagonals are 1.75 .095 and the main is 1.75 .120

I hate that crap on the floor, my yota has it too. did you just scrape it all?

Yeah every bit of it. A heat gun helps make it go a lot faster.

Only way to get that crap off the floor is a propane torch. Heat it up and it comes right off with a putty knife, takes 15 minutes. Just don't get it stuck to your thumb, that shit hurts.

I like leaving it cold and brittle and going at it with a chisel and a hammer. pops right off

2x, a cold morning and it breaks off in big chunks. Or in the summer through some dry ice on it.

Yeah the cold method worked good on the race truck but it wasn't working so well with this one.

Sorry for the lack of updating! December was shot for me and i didn't get anything done but i have been hammering down lately. The main cage is all in, engine cage started, and started the rear too. no pics yet though. I am in search for some rear shocks too.

oh and i made a big hole in the floor

i got the a good amount done over the weekend. All the main tube work is done on the rear, just needs a bumper, and the seats are mounted.

Your truck looks clean too. The kit is pretty nice and cycles really well. I would give pat a call over at chaos for the price of it.

Well i want to do a rear leaf pack.. Not sure if there is a bolt in pack or if not , i want to do 62's but i dont have time to do this kind of thing.

I got everything welded up this weekend and started working on the front again too. Also got the deavers fixed/prepped and stopped by TC to pick up all the parts for the rear suspension.

tig all the sheet metal? lame, mig that shit and get it done. you want bling, run gold rims

yeah it doesn't really matter since it will all be wrapped anyways!

thanks everyone. Next is probably the not so fun work like plating in all the holes, cage tie in plates,etc. I got the rear leaf hangers cut off too so i might install the rear springs soon too.

Got all the mounts for the deavers on tonight now i just need to weld them up tomorrow.
