    Default Toyotally Awesome 97 T100

Well i picked up a t100 this weekend to turn into a prerunner. Its a 97 extra cab 2wd with a 3.4l v6 with a trd supercharger and a 5speed. I decided to do this because i miss being able to jump in the truck and go. The race truck is a little expensive and usually requires planning to take out now days. Sooo the game plan with the build is keep it simple and functional. Going to be running the new TOTAL CHAOS kit that they came out with for these trucks, full cage, 3seater, keep the dash with working ac, a old set of my deaver h70s i had from when the race truck ran leafs, and again keeping it functional and simple.

    now for pictures!

    TC kit

    4x4 lift spindles

Heim steering and billet cross shafts

Guero and 22r stroker like this.

The kit is 3" over per side, 15in of travel, 4x4 lift spindle, and should clear 35s.

Any plans on improving the steering? Maybe put a 4wd steering set up on it?

You're a dick Brian! Your pre-runner is going to be nicer than most people's only off-road truck on DR haha. I get the need for this truck though...I miss driving to and from all the trips with about 10 minutes of planning!

For now i will be running the stock rack to see how it holds up. I have heard it does better then the problematic tacoma racks. If i start to have issues i will switch to a 4wd box and centerlink setup like the older yotas.

Yeah it will be nice for sure. Elliott and I have been talking about a lot of trips already.

Do you know what company of glass that is for the front? All i have seen is Hannemann that has glass for the fenders and bedsides of a T100.

Well the weekend didn't go as planned. I had to help a buddy move and then the side yard was mess and had to do a lot of moving around to get the truck in there. I did get some work done though.
    Frontend is off

    Interior is gutted

I also got the fender, bumper, and all that good stuff off too.

    oh and here is this.

Whats not to be a fan of?
    Great motor- 3.4
    Able to supercharge
Bigger then a mini- More room inside
    Smaller then a fullsize- Towable
    Strong frame- Boxed
    Strong steering -On the 4wds
Toyota- Goes 100's of thousands of miles (This one has 200k)

This was my dream truck (but 4wd) until my kid turned into twins at the 6 month apointment
