My 37sbuddy didn't rub....![]()
My buddy had the fabtech kit and it rubbed with 37s on the firewall.
I have some 37s if you need some or I have a new set of 35s on nice rims for your truck.
Gunna start the front end next week hopefully but quick question. for the fabtech kit should i have the shock mounts on the bottom of the lca's or box the bottom in and have the shocks mounted inside the Lca. Is there a difference for these options?

Thought I'd throw in an update. I have all the components to do the fabtech coilbucket kit install but I'm thinking of skipping this step and jumping straight to a coilover setup.
But i did get to do a lil plasti dip sesh the other day and surprisingly it turned out well. def need new headlights though. Also getting frame plating and frame horn pieces laser cut next week for boxing in the rear and for making bumpers front and back

looks like u either need a wider rear end or spacers in the back lol, not even close to filling the rear glass
ya i know im running an 8.8 but once i get my front kit on, i can take off the spacer in the front and add them to the back
nice to see my old kit go to good use. if i were you id tab your coilbucket for a 10" limit strap like i had my kit setup for, then throw a 2.0 on like so.
oh and id pick up a couple packs of thread in bumpstops, the short ones.
heres a pic of how i had my limit straps setup and a chewed up bump stop lol

are you sure its the same? mine has the upper arm balljoint spot boxed in, also what size shock are you running. and what kind of numbers were you pulling?
are u in whittier i think i saw you the other day
R.I.P zach butcher u will be missed
im positive. the blue kit is tony's buddies truck. i did the 2.0 on it. never got around to doing a 2.0 on my own before swapping kits but ive done a bunch. my kit is in the last pic. i welded on the limit strap tab by the lower bj. i used a 2.0x10 inch shock when i do mid travel upgrades and with flipped upper ball joints and short bumps i was pulling a 12-13" i believe metal to metal and 11.5" strapped.
ya man i live in whittier! and Knuckledstr, what do you mean by flipped upper ball joints?
bolt the upper bj in from the bottom of the UCA. not the top like stock.
i sweet i saw u on leffingwell like 2 weeks ago i was in my grey s10

I know i should be spending my money on parts to start my LT kit but i found this and had to hop on it. hopefully it will get put on soon.
nice truck reminds me of my buddys old chevy
Thanks Man! No major updates, been waiting for parts, just got my uniballs so now I am waiting for bushing sleeves to arrive today or tomorrow so i can start a mock up of the front kit.
These bad boys came in the mail yesterday:] gunna start tearing down the front end today along with hacking off the old bumper and tire carrier.
Been lagging on working on the truck cause of school and what not, also got a car to save gas but should be starting to make the lower arms next week after finals. Not gunna heavily mod the car but thinkn of doing something similar to this picture i found.
