Thread: 98 Ford Ranger

Got bored decided to create a mini build.. 98 Ranger Converted front end to 02. Balljointed 5.5 kit up front with fabtech coils right now. Front bumper with (3)Hid Lights mounted. Black background headlights with Fiberglass hood and 3'' Fiberwerx Fenders. Rear has deavers with bilstiens. Rear tire carrier to hold 2 spares upright. Pulled bedsides. 33's bfg alt.

Took it out for a run at Gorman

and this ended up happening.. Broke Control arm Balljoint...

I've done that :/

Broken Balljoint blew apart my bed had to find another one, Cut Bedsides and Pulled them.

Cut out bed and set 2 spares on factory plate for the old spare tire mount.

Had my buddy who build the secound front bumper start the bedcage aka Dirty Dangler is his name on here

almost reminds me of when i first started building my truck. good luck with the build man, keep the updates coming....oh and if you dont mind me asking, how much did that hood from mcqueen run you? looks clean!

So those are just the 3" front fenders? How much wider is your front then stock? Whats wheel backspacing?
JUst curious because I was going to do 1.5" wider on each side and I was not sure if I would do the 4.5" or 3".
Looks good though, makes me jealous.

Hahah, yeah fuck Broken ball joints. I broke mine one timee, Exact same thing happenn.

Thnx guys! The hood i got at the expo from mcqeen and it was 250.. He cut me a deal beacuse of that event i think it runs 300, and im runnin 6'' shackles.

OK thanks I'm gonna be putting new shackles on and was wondering what size your were cause I wanna keep the low n wide look, the new leafs I got raised the back some so think 6" shackles will put it back to where it was before
