    Default 2000 Ranger build

First things first...it started life with a first generation camburg 5.5 kit, and i had nothing but problems with it. Got an alighment done and would go ridding 2 weeks later and the cam bolts would loosen. thought it was the place i took it to so i went back and made them re-do it and i tighted the cambolts. Went ridding not shitting you the next day and it was pulling like a 2 dollar whore. i took it somewhere else and had it done and didnt go ridding or take it in the dirt and over a period of 4 months i had shit wear on my tires and had to replace all the bearings and went ahead and did the rotors to. In the mean time my buddy Van had desiging a full coustom Long travel kit for A-arm rangers(but not for torshinbars) and i was thinking, and asked him about a coil-bucket kit and he gave me a number and it was 400 bucks less then the LT kit. SO like anything else i just said fuck it and took it all off sold it and hacked the coil buckets off.

And yesturday my friend had a few weeks off and we went to town and plated the hole driver side of the frame, work will continue today with finshing some small things on the driver side and the other side should be done today.

the kit is still beging desiging but the original one that had the spindle extend an inch a half is pulling 21" metal to metal keep in mind no steering and shocks!!! the kit is being cut out monday the 26th and will take till friday to be fully TIGed up. the kit is running 1" upper uni-ball and 1 1/2" lower uni-ball, and the upper arm is using 3/4 heims. and for steering we went with the BMS clevises. and are mechinning are own snout blocks for the dana 35 snouts out a 5"x1" puck.

Here are some pictures of the kit. The fist link is the latest version with a vertical outer steering hiem that was put together over at SMP here in burbank. Its 4.5" over arms, the spindle adds a little more then that. I think the track width is in the 85" area. The first truck that got the kit was meanmachines ranger and was designed by him and I.

    droop.jpg

the truck is straped at 15.5 inches with 10" 2.5 dulrate sway-aways. it made the droop numbers smaller and up travel smaller numbers smaller because sway-aways shocks bodies are so small compared to fox or king. MEANMachines kit is straped at 17 but he also has kings with a bigger shock body.

The day you pass me is the day I no longer have my truck... You need to go out and learn how to drive your truck again this isn't a 5.5 kit you have some new learning to do beyotch.
