Default 09 chevy silverado crew cab

hey guys my name is jake and I am somewhat new to the site. I just decided to sell my duramax since all I ever tow is my rzr and dirtbike. I bought an 09 chevy silverado ltz with all the options and 30k miles to build as a daily driver. The truck had a volant intake and magnaflow exhaust when I bought it. my plans are as follows:

mazzulla front lt kit with 2.5 kings to start
    kmc enduro beadlocks
    37'' baja ta's
    deaver c85 springs
king 3.0 triple bypasses in rear
    gmr hangers
    blitz shackles
    4.88 gears
    detroit locker

its easier to upload them to a site like photobucket then copy the [img] code and paste it here.

can't wait to see this thing get built!

thanks guys! I saved my money for a while before i finally sold my duramax. I had one week off of school, drove out to mazzulla, came home and worked 7 am to 1 am for 7 days and finished installing the long travel, built bumpers, mounted all the tires on the beadlocks, and put the rear fenders on. This is my first truck to build so i am pretty stoked, all I have ever built before this is utv chassis. Here are some updated pics of the clip, fiberwerx really pulled through on this one!!photo-2.jpgphoto-1.jpg

Yeah I was originally going to buy the geiser clip that is on the riot racing pre runner so that I wouldnt have to wait to get one built. Unfortunately with that clip you have to move the grill back for it to fit right so I didnt buy it. But from the pics I really like how this one turned out! I cant wait to see it tomorrow

What's your definition of a trophy clip? We matched the factory body lines around the wheel well, and for clearance, the wheel well was raised. That factory wheel well trim on the new Chevy's is huge, so the option was to have that at the hood line, or to make a rise over the wheel well. This is also the only 1 piece I can think of that we offer, that doesn't have any louvers, gills, shark fins, etc. etc. it has a real sleek look.

It's done now, I'll post some pics asap.

i meant the raised wheel wells. but now that you explained it that way, it makes sense. my midget self would never be able to see over the clip if i had one of those.

The finished product looks really good. Internet high five to jakecarver for being the guinea pig and having that made. Truck looks good! I know the finned/louvered stuff sells like hotcakes, but it would be great to see Fiberwerx make some more stuff like this.

It does have the factory style vents that come on HD's, but that's it. Once I get some better pics I'll post those, the cell phone camera is horrible.

It def would look better with a bumper more tucked up to the body.

I built the bumper really fast before I had the clip made, which was a mistake. I am going to cut it off and build a much better one that will be tucked up there nicely and hide the stock core support that you can see.

I took the truck to king of the hammers this weekend but my springs and hangers still have not arrived so the rear is still stock. So, unfortunately I was not really able to actually put it to work! But Soon enough it will be put to the test. Im still young and dumb so it will probably be used pretty hard!!

has anyone had experience putting deaver c85's on an 09 crew cab? I am in the process and I want to know what my options are for the drive shaft? At full droop the driveshaft is too long
