Damn you're an animal...you take the truck apart on the weekend, then put it all back to stock to drive it to work on Monday. Everything is looking good so far. Keep it up.

been saving up money to get 2.5 bypasses and 2.5 bumps all the way around so i havent gotten much done but i did get a temporary set of custom leafs made for my truck by Jonathan at North County Spring. My family and his family go way back. His dad built my dads race truck springs and now Jonathan (who i went to school with) built mine. Going to go test them out tonight!

    johnny,

hit me up i have a pair of fabtech shocks brand new left over from a customer truck sitting in my shop. If you need some to tie you over give me a call and they are yours. They are the white ones and they will hold you over for now, i just have no use for them.

ordered up a set of FOX 2.5 2 tube bypass 16'' resi shocks friday for the rear. *Should be here in a couple of weeks.

soon as those come in new bedcage will be built, *halo for the driveshaft so it clears at droop, straps, brake lines, etc.

it will be strapped at 16''.

last weekend i finished up with the front end geometry, and uca design. *i had 3 different designs and i think i will go with this one. *these are the MOCK UP ARMS and are haggard, i plan on making the finals this weekend for both sides out of chromoly since i have the jigs all squared away. *truck front end is jacked up high so at normal ride the caster wont be that much like in the photo.

Are those leafs final? Why is their so few leafs in the pack? What was the goal of the rear springs?
very tragic, but my best wishes go out to his family, may he cross the big finish line in the sky and take the over all once and for all....

the leafs are final. with the shackles they cycle 18". they are heavily modified chevy 64" springs. they are a 4 leaf. jonathan had an idea so i let im use my truck. overload was tossed, 2 leafs added and the whole pack re arched to the height i wanted (springs were sagging alot from years of abuse). the goal he had in mind was to build some springs that cost half as much as deavers and to see how they handle. right now the shocks suck (sock ones) and as soon as i get the bypasses me and him are going to hit the desert to test.

It was the worst pain in my life when they were digging that shit out!! Truck looks bitchin, what kind of travel numbers are you getting out of the truck??

not sure yet cause on droop the drive shaft hits a frame brace. *im gonna strap it at 16 though, thats spenty for me with bypasses and bumps. *these are modified chevy springs so they wont get much more than that. *jonathan at north county spring designed them as a mid travel half-the-cost-of-deavers upgrade. *just trying them out.
