Hydroboost is cool, but it costs a lot of money to do properly. You have to shell out the money to upgrade your power-steering pump in order to compensate for the extra work you're asking it to do on top of increased tire size.

i had all the same problems when i put a kit on my 06 silverado. for the brake lines on the driver side just roll them up off the frame, but be careful not to kink em. and the booster was a big pain in the ass for me to, but with putting your bypasses in its gonna be even harder to fab a hoop on that side. I pulled a bit of my hair out doin it, but im sure you'll make it all fit. good luck.

your right, trying to fab up a nice hoop to just set up the coilover on that side has been a bitch and now that i have the bypasses its even worse! here is a pick, i just set them in today to get an idear.

the UCA hits the resi on bump and i knew this was going to happen. basically i didnt want to wait another 6 weeks to get the shocks custom made to have a remote resi. so i called up kartek, purchased them in piggy back, and will have them converted to resi.

    Default silverado build up

Nice build. I have a 04 silverado with the camburg long travel kit. I am having alittle trouble with the truck wandering on the road/ freeways. Have you experienced this problem? The kit has about 30k miles on it and it did it from day one. Before that kit I had the camburg performance kit and that did not wander. Other than that, its a great system. Let me know if you know anything?

Engine cage welded up last week so my buddy Jacob and I fabbed up the cross brace between the two shock towers. Came out perfect. I still can get to my trans oil dipstick/fill, my engine oil cap, and other vital parts without having to take it off evertime I want to do motor service. I got better at my tubing to tubing welding too .

Everything is looking good Miller. One thing, bail those polly bushing for your cross member or your towers will flew like a mofo. Run some Delrin or get some harder ones machined.

so i checked out the desertnations site. do the killer pushing kits come with delrin bushings or poly because i have those bushing kits on my truck. the brace for the engine cage has 2 and the arms have 4 except they are 5/8 ID and 1" OD on the inner sleeve. it says "These bushing assemblies are for severe duty locations such as pivots for trailing arms ect".

Just a heads up, I have a very similar style setup on my F-1. The bends on that cross-brace will continue to bend with time and will cause your frame rails to roll inward at the top. Also, those shock mount tabs will put TONS of twisting force on the tubing and will eventually tear. Mine are plated in joining the inner mounts on both the coilover and bypass and they still tore.

The "Killer Bushing Kit" is from Poly. IF you want to run Delrin then look at Item #61 the 1.75 Delrin like for .120 wall tube.

when i did mine i used engine degreaser, and a putty knife, had the back half done in a half hour then wiped it down with brake cleaner and a rag.

i also found out you can use just brake cleaner and a rag, will prob take longer and youll go through a shit load of rags lol
