Took a while, but I will finally have this in my possession some time next week. Hella carbon fiber lightbar, I shit you not, all carbon fiber with 5 Rallye compact HIDs. Im going to move the ballasts inside the housing but when we had this on our Stock Fool we wired it up the night before the Baja 500 in 06. There are only two in the world to my knowledge and I think the other one is on a WRC car? DGAF, its sick as fuck and should have very little wind resistance compared to a standard set up.

Putting a new 3 core radiator in tomorrow. Ended up getting one meant for an auto trans so Im just going to plumb the trans cooler to the engine oil. Should be getting the new light bar mounted up shortly and possibly the dash with all the gauges. Still aiming to run the Parker 425 in February. Going to take the truck out to Barstow with GFO this weekend and then full strip down and prep.

Well the Barstow to Lucerne run sucked LOL. We were stupid and rushed into getting it out to the desert and forgot to burp the cooling system. Overheated running from Main to Slash X, topped it off, got pitted with coolant and Slash X fountain water bla bla. Still made it to Giant Rock with no real issues besides steaming like a tea pot when we were stopped. We were going to DGAF and run the highway home but the motor lost power about 100 yards down the road. Epic fail but we started a fire that was approved by the CHP in Landers.

Kind of the last straw as far as we were concerned. We are getting a new ODB2 motor from Max Cheddar that will have some goodies bolted to it soon along with a new engine harness, ECU and tuner. Thus will solve our motor wiring issues as mine was the first trial run so to speak for 805 harness cut down. Jeepspeeds uncle is going to help us wire everything else bumper to bumper. I hate electrical with a passion because I did it in school for a few years but Id rather know the ins and outs of the whole system because we have big plans to run on course sApport for a few people/bucket list race to get our feet wet for the big show.

Besides the electrical were going to finally get the new carbon fiber Hella light pod mounted up with two new Rallye 4000 HIDs mounted a little lower on the A pillar because Ivan Stewart is the shit. Im tired of the plain white so were going to paint the truck a combination of blue, fresh white, orange and flat black and you know the crimson ghost will be on the hood. Im set on wheels and tires and have more than the teams I help in Mex but I might be getting rid of the Alcoas if I can ink a deal Im working on. Besides that just some little knick knack stuff that both Mikey and I have been putting off for a long time. The trucks finally gonna get some love instead of being beaten like a ginger step child.

In all honesty we want to get the truck to the point we had our 12 car meaning we had prep down to a science depending on miles completed and miles upcoming, ZERO DNFs kinda thing. Theres no point in rushing it. If the 425 happens awesome, if not Ill be out there helping the PRT TT and SAW 10 car and looking forward to the Mint.

Somewhere in the pile is a new 4.0 that's gonna get built, the C4 that's had 17 owners, and a crap ton of spares that have been on Mikeys truck, Sunds and who knows where else.

Lets not forget the 3 starter motors, 2 alternators, radiator, AC compressor and whatever else I tricked you into taking. The sad thing is, the spare parts pile you saw, is maybe half of what I own, the rest is all loaned out, stored at work etc. I'm headed for the swap-meet with a couple grand, time to restock the parts pile.

Word, now the Mouse lives in the garage Im guessing. Im gonna have to steal some more pit boxes for all that stuff. I have 5 filled with spare parts so I only have 1 fluids box haha. Gonna mount one of each of the spares in the storage box permitting it stays after the coolers are mounted.

Not really much in the way of updates. Got a huge trans cooler, gate shifter, and Ron Davis radiator so the spare radiators for the 7S I codawg will be interchangable. Should be able to get an engine oil cooler, PS cooler and filtered resevoir at the swapmeet. After that gonna order up all the stuff for the motor and trans to get built. Going over to the shop aka friends parents garage to take pictures of the cage and send them to Savage before I spend a whole day getting reemed for my SCORE tag and have to make some changes before it goes back to Mikey for some metal melting.

I already have 6 shipping totes full of spare parts and some laying on the floor and shelves. All my fluids take up two shelves in my shed of awesome that need totes since parts ousted them.

I ended up grabbing a BIG Griffin cooler for the trans with a Spal fan, Seatrabb cooler with a Spal fan for the engine oil, legit as shit buggy oil cooler Im gonna use for the PS and some other misc stuff at the swapmeet. Im grabbing a built C4 tonight and I think the one I have is sold. Waiting to get the shifter but its "on hold" and I should grab it next week. Sold the black glass dash at the swapmeet to some Jeep dudes with the comical help of Heck, Adam and JosB. Grabbed a carbon fiber one shortly after that off Bean.

As far as the engine I have a few internal parts but Im gonna hold off on building it and use that money for a legit Mexico prep aka $$$. Just gonna run Sandbaggin Sunds OHV tuned computer on the stock motor he claims was factory magic motor for the time being.

As of right now Ive been emailing SCORE to see how close/far off I am from getting a tag before I take it down to SD. Once that is done there will be a fab fiesta to mount the coolers, C4 and other misc stuff. Filbin Wireworks hooked me up with a stripped down harness so the truck wont have the oddball wiring issues its known for. All I really need parts wise is a full set of gauges, lines for the coolers, and a bunch of wiring (with colors, not black and red only... LOLzzz) and Weatherpacks.

Im really shooting to race the 500 this June, so its gonna be cutting it really close but having the truck back under my roof shortly is really gonna help make it happen.

Talking crap again at least we did it all ourselves and its really clean and everything worked on first try and have not had one issue. In fact besides not buying production parts and building the motor (soon to come by us) we have done everything ourselves, fab/paint/glass/electrical/plumbing/trans/etc. Not many builders have done all that out of there garage especially for a first build.

I guess I thought we had finish talking crap. Guess its just done in other threads now

grow the fuck up man, you sound like a 12 year old school girl who just got called a slut. just stfu and dont come in this thread if you are going to cry about every little thing. if you are getting butt hurt about his comment then go rewire your truck because it was stupid ot wire it like that, ask any pro at it and they would say that was an absolute mistake to wire it the way you did. grow up and go repaint ur truck again.
