    Default new build... 87 yota pick up. full build

    some pics. not even close to almost done. rear isnt complete now front end or cage..so here you go. sorry for the crappy pics. me and my buddy are building this for a friend.

    and on the lower arms the two tubes running towards the rear mount are double sheared into the box portion of the arm...and have a tube inside connecting the two.
    im getting back into the industry whether you like it or not

    Are you guys planning on running coil-over and bypass? Personally, I think that a forward mounted strut is a bit stronger, so if you're not going to run cob or have the ability to run them in-line, then switch to a forward strut. That's just my opinion.

    Looking good so far though, keep it up.

    i dunno. were not mounting a bypass..... but i kinda dis agree with the strength part. but then again its the first time i have built a toyota. thanks tho

    the arms are both gonna be strong but the way ou have to mount eh rear strut is the weak link. the inner frame rail is really thin and it's hard to get a nice crossbrace between them with the motor and tranny in the way.

    haha i totally forgot about this thread...truck is mostly done and at the guys house now...he needs to finish some stuff up to even get it rolling but for the most part its done.

    I almost looks like the cab is 89-95 style, not an 87.

    haha i dont even know how this got put here... truck is sittin... not done.. owner has other plans and doesnt know what he wants to do with it... ill try getting some pics but i dunno whats going on..pretty much a lost interest build
