BDMs 1998 ford ranger resurrection

well i guess its time to reveal my big hopes and dreams to the people of DR.

plan:
solid daily driver
comfortable pre runner for the race truck
strong chase truck
and last but not least...
chick getter!!

plan is to hopefully have it running before the Dash then tear it all apart and cage/rebuild the rear. prolly gunna keep it leaf sprung just because it will be 70% street but who know we have linked a truck before why not do it again haha. just wanna build a comfortable strong fun truck that will be reliable on and off the road.

picked up micks old race kit off of some guy in victervill for a good price sorry for the lame cell picture got too ancy and just had to start bolting stuff up to get an idea then i decided to bust the real camera out, also picked up a big bearinged 9inch housing for free and luck would have it we have all the stock guts from the rear end of the big truck.

here are a few more

ill try and keep this updated with our progress just collecting parts right now so soon enough it will be blastin again!

Fuckin-A....pimp shit! That kit looks really nice. Glad to see you getting it put back together so quickly. You'll have to let me come check it out again sometime soon.

BTW, I forgot what length your rear shocks were; but I am looking for some real cheap 16" to get me by if you plan on selling them.

the rears are 14s im actually trading them for some 16inch bypasses this weekend sorry man.

okay well here is the readers digest version.
ocotillo wells cahilla trail cruisin to shell reef express way doing about seventy suddenly front end drops i hit the brakes then it catches the ground and starts to dig so i mash on the gas it spins around so now im sliding backwards (still hauling dick!) and when i finally come to a stop the tire and wheel that had decided to dip caught back up and decided to come right threw my windshield. pretty much the snout sheered off, everyone was okay thats all im thankful for.

nah 33s for now i wanna upgrade the snouts and spindles to either dana 35 or convert it all to 5on5.5 before i do that i dont want a repeat of last month im over sheering spindle snouts. haha itll look tuff dont worry i got some plans.

Good choice man 33's are fine, i got them on my truck and love them. 35 you need that upgraded spindle or you will have problems later on.
