Dirty Hooker Box....'nuff said
Here are some updated pics. I mounted an optima in the back, mounted the pwr radiator, fully boxed the frame with 1/8" plate to the back of the cab, and fixed the X in the bedcage. I decided to cut out the engine cage because there was not enough clearence for the radiator when it comes time to get a V8 so I still have to finish a new one. It will probably be similar to the old one. Let me know what you guys think.

Its always got to me, lol. Ya, the radiator is real nice. Hey do you know if the ac condenser is pressurized? I was thinking of moving it to the back using an oil cooler or something. It's not going to work where it is.
uhhh if the compressor comes on and you get cold air??? i dunno ha ha. probably need a special tool to plug into the system to check.

It's definatly pressurized. I don't know what I was thinking. I just took it out. I'll probably have pwr make me a smaller on so it will fit in front of the radiator.
Sweet deal. Thanks for the heads up James. I'll definatly look into it.
Thanks. No I didn't move, I took this pic at my buddies house.
oh haha i didnt recognize the corner across the street

I wish I could but I still have to mount the clip. And before that I have to finish the engine cage. See the little piece of tubing holding the front clip up? That was just a teaser shot.Hope to have it finished soon. I want this thing in the dirt already!!
looks awesome dude. nice. realy is a bad ass truck. so you gonnabe ready to doa trip in a few weeks? haha

Damn, I wish. I was really shooting to have it done in a few weeks but it doesn't look like its gonna happen. It sucks. Iv'e reached the point were I want this thing done, NOW!!
I still need to solid body mount the cab, finish rear suspension, finish engine cage and mount the front clip and a bunch of other little misc stuff which is like a two page list, lol. I started to actually write a list the other day. Once I realized all the little stuff I still needed to do, I crumbled it up, haha.
damn. thats a badass silvy!

haha, It wasn't going to work with the engine cage so I had to improvise and it still barely worked.
jon how does the truck like the mass air flow sensor that close to the throttle body?
i like how you have the 2x2 bumps mounted and gussetted! is that recent work or have you had the front end like that for a while? keep up the good work man.

Thanks. It seems to work OK. It's not like I had much power anyway, lol.
The bumps have been gussetted since I had the kit installed.
I eventually want to tie the shocks and bumps into the engine cage but I am not going to worry about that for a while.
Oh, I was thinking about running 5 points with stock seats for a while. I think it will be ok. I was just wondering, has anyone had any issues running 5 pionts and stock seats?
but the stock seats have the seatbelts already right?

That thing looks good. I can't really tell, is it a reg cab?
My experiance with stock seats in the silverados and off roading is bad, when the truck bottomed out it seamed to go right into my back. hitting the seat support bars with your ass ruins a good run real fast.

Well I should be good then because I don't think I'll be able to go fast enough to bottom out, hahaha!
I know, if I get pulled over I can always do a quick switcharoo and put on the stock seat belt, if I run the stock seats.
dude! the engine cage looks sick. im jealous

Thanks!! Hey, when is that trip going down? I really want to try and make it.
not sure. still tryin to figure out when the best time it is for the dudes that have the built chevys to roll out. most of you guys areworking on your trucks so they arent driveable yet. i really want johnny miller(prerunsilverado) to go. been wanting to see his truck hit the dirt forever now but i think he still has a while to go on his build? but there is enough people that want to go right now that we can do it. just need to map out a decent run, or someone with GPS to lead you know? so were not just runnin around on dumb little trails.
