my 87s pulled 15.5" with my custom bilstien limit staps/ shocks hahahah. with BMS shackels. dude wuts wrong with the dirt bike you hav right now shit think about the extra 3500 that you could put in ur truck thats a grip lol. shit my crf450 is an 03 and it still murders. if you hav a bike think parts like a stage 2 hot cam and a higher comp piston and sum head work. allllloot cheaper and you make alot more power than the new bikes. every dollar helps

actually. i got the bumper off 714chevy. and it didnt line up perfectly so i cutoff the mounts that were on it. built my own mounts that fit correctly and then i had the light tabs put on. so the only thing i used off the originial bumper was the top tube.

Bad news update: my sister was driving my truck a few nights ago and had an incident bending the drivers side of my bumper in 2 inches on the top tube, shattering one of my hellas beyond repair, breaking my fiberglass grille, breaking the headlight/running light mount, and breaking the running light. So im cutting off the bumper i have now, building a whole new one fully boxed, getting 3 hids for the bumper, and obviously fixing the shit that got broken. Im not pissed but just upset for this setback that probably wont be cheap. my parents said they are willing to pay for the broken things but i dont think they will cover 3 new lights, because the lights i had before were hella rallye 2000's halogen and i cant exactly go out and buy a new one since they are discontinued.

i like the grill, i think it would look better if you painted the side pieces between the lifhts and the fenders white though, that little bit of black looks tacky. looks great so far though, nice bike too

Alright. Update time. Painted sides of lights white Instead of black, bolted up rear bumper mounts, welded on top tube for rear bumper. Made some tabs for rear bumper. Got 2 new ambers, Almost finished with front frame horns for my boxed front bumper and I stripped my fword decals and my limo tint on the 2 side windows. I was gettin pulled over alot and I'm tired of these bullshit cops pulling me over and harrasing me for nothing. So got that taken care of and my truck is getting closer to being the way I want it. New system is on the way. Pics tonight or tomorow

    Default Update

What up. so i have been fucking working my ass of the last few days. got my shit almost done. its on the streets right now but i have to add some tubes still. but here it is. fully boxed front frame horns, 13/4 dom top tube, 1 3/4 dom rear bumper/dual spare holder. Got 2 new ambers, and i am currently running my 2 hid hella rallye lights on the front bumper with a spot for a 3rd. my truck has been out of commision for a month due to my sister ruining my front end. (bumper, running light, head light mount, wheel, aligmnent, grille, One of my rallyes, etc.) so now its fixed. Here is the pics. And for whoever is going to ask all the work is done by me. On the rear i would have cut the bed but my rear bumper/spare holder is fully bolt on to stock mounts so i decided not to cut the bed since its bolt on if i ever have a need or want to remove it to use my tailgate i dont have a huge hole in the bed. Enjoy

    To do list-
add 4 tubes to rear bumper
cap all tubes front and rear
side and down tubes on front
    skid plate
    And so many other things

I didn't even see any close up pics of the welds. I have a feeling you either did the welding or helped, haha.

By the way, the truck is looking good dude.

i think he is being sarcastic
    *really trying not to bash*
but the weld doesnt look like a amazing weld on the main bumper tube, looks a little buggery but hard to tell.

Not a fan of dual stand up spares as it is, but that setup looks hideous IMO. Also what's keeping the tires from ejecting out the side, if the straps loosens up a little bit?

I WAS being sarcastic. As you can see in the second picture the bottom corner of the plate has a humungous amount of penetration and as it moves up along side to the tube it dissappears... and yes i also agree with the weld on the top tube. did anyone order popcorn????

seriously. atleast hes building his truck himself unlike half of DR that cant run a bead so they pay someone(nothing wrong with that IMO) but your taking a shot at his own personal work on his own personal vehicle is kinda shitty in anyones part. dont knock something unless you have tried it. if he was doing fab for others, charging allot and didnt clean up his work thats another thing. like me and evan were talking about the other day, on our trucks we do let shitty work slide like we dont grind out a weld to redo it because of porosity or something along those lines, as long as your happy with it, thats all that matters.

the welds may not be superb but they should do the job and thats what matters.
    lets move on.
